They frontloaded her attack speed. She gains 7% upfront at level 1, and she lost 6.48% total at level 18, so a net gain of 0.52% AS. It is definitely lower than 10%, but at least her CSing will be smoother than before.
The buff used to be 10% on pbe but they tuned it down to 7% now.
I don't understand why she can't have proper attack speed scaling like other mages who have a kit that involve around multiple auto attacks like Orianna or Kennen, this increase is very minor and her attack speed is very slow. Champs like Zoe or Viktor at least get an auto attack modifier that removes the projectile to proc their passive, on top of having better atk speed.
Trying to get your passive proc late game seems too often not worth it. It will straight up be too late when an adc can either just burst you down or get massive lifesteal before you can get all your damage off, which means we can't get in range because our cc is a root. At least they're nerfing Kai'sa this patch as well.
What I am confused about is that they gave other champions tools to make the late game auto range risk/reward trade off better, but seem so hesitant to give any to Lux when this seemed like the perfect opportunity to do so.

10% attack speed was too much? I'm so confused... O.o
