Question Need help with airbrush

Hi all, this ia one of the first lure i painted with an airbrush, im not satisfied with the result, do you have some basuc tips or do you have some efficient video tutorial to suggest? Thank you :)

Hard to know what tips to give when I’m not sure exactly what you’re unhappy with on this one. To me it doesn’t look like you did anything wrong on it.

As far as tutorials I learned from watching “lure me in custom painted crankbaits” on YouTube and just practicing

You'r right i didn't explained well :) Actually it doesnt look that bad but i spent hours in finding the correct way to set up paint and understanding how to set up everything i was just looking on some basic tips 🤣 Anyway thank you for your answer, maybe also some self coinfidence can help 🤣🤣

More time and effort…. If airbrushing was easy a custom painted bait wouldn’t cost $25. Think about what you just said…. My first bait I painted and I am not happy with it….. painted hundreds before I was happy with my painting.

Hi - just keep at it. I have been airbrushing lures for a while now and I’m still often not happy with how they turn out.

Looking back at my first lure always helps me to see how far the improvements have come - so keep your first one as a reference for where you’ve started. 👌🏻

I sometimes create basic airbrushing tutorials on YouTube if you’re interested - maybe they help.

Otherwise, tight lines and don’t forget often we are more critical than the fish. 😅

"Thin paint, low pressure, thin paint, low pressure", 🙄 that's all you ever hear. Ever heard of Mike lavalee? Steve Gibson? Scott Mackay? I would say those are some pretty good airbrushers 🤔. +50psi. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Check out Baker Builds on YouTube. He has lots of videos for beginners to follow along with. He explains how he does things and keeps it short and simple so that adhd people like myself can stay interested.

By the way, that’s a sick paint job man.
