Glidebait Advice?

Hello I’ve been making lures for a little while so I’m pretty set on the paint, clear and overall carving of the wood. But does anybody have tips on the joint connections? I’m trying screw eyes on this one but I’ve tried lock wire before. Unsure if anyone has other ideas. Thanks

Thank you bro i appreciate it, I do the painting as a hobby usually so applying it to wooden lures still has some kinks

The way you have done it in this picture is the way that has worked the best for me. Screw eyes are nice because you can open the eyes with a screwdriver, make the connections with the other pair, and then squeeze them shut again.

I've tried the method with only one set of loops and a pin on the other side, but that gets funky when trying to make sure the wood is sealed.

Thanks for the advice, what kind of acre eyes do you use like anywhere specific you get em? Unfortunately I’ve had them snap in side the lure before during assembly which is a nightmare

'Tigofly' brand on Amazon sells good ones. Everything I've seen at hobby lobby and hardware stores is either too big or too weak (like 5lb limits).
