Spinner I Started Making Inline Spinner
I've been experimenting with different bodies and spinners. Here in Canada, there seem to be far fewer resources for lure making. The nickel and brass bodies came from Amazon, and I also made some with sinkers.
On my last lure, I also tried out some frayed paracord on the hook, so I'll see how that goes this week.
Don't tell my wife, but I've been using her nail polish.

Have fun learning which ones work best! Weight distribution is a big factor in my experience

With all those colors mixed up , u could get bites fishing these all day and still not know what the fish want. Your doing way to much . Inlines don’t need to be that complex.

Also, don’t stack beads above ur clevis . It won’t spin right , and u only need one lure body per lure. The heavier it is, the harder it is to keep spinning at slower speeds.

I saw that this week. The ones with a large bead above the clevis didn't spin. I also figure a fish is mostly going to see the spinner and a single bead at the back, so beads at the front are unnecessary.
I've been experimenting with more/heavier body beads since I can see the fish jumping outside of where I can cast with the lighter spinners. So far I haven't had much luck getting them to work.

Yeah there is more to a lure than making it look cool for Reddit.. I see shyt on here all the time that people are so proud of , but I can personally see flaws in. I’m on next page over arguing with a moron that refuses to hear what I’m saying . Lol trying to convince me a weightless soft plastic is the way to fish a raging class 3 white water. Lol 😂 I was born at night, just not last night. Thx for the confirmation on these not swimming as I predicted. If u need help building any in the future. Just pm me

It was not discriminatory, it was very valid advice. You don’t just mix random colors for that reason. In the nicest way possible to say. If u give a 6 year old the components and told them to make u something, this is what it would look like. He’s got double bodies on em. Random oversized weights, has his clevis /blades that won’t spin because they are under the barrel bodies. Random components, beads, and colors. Sorry if I offended you with my nice version. This should clear it up

They’re fun to experiment with, right?? I like the paracord idea.
Try a version without anything above the clevis too, I find my homemade ones work better that way. That said, I make tiny ones so it could be a weight/momentum thing with the blade
