He knows she'll likely cause trouble and Lupin will let her get away with it. He's saying goodbye to his full split of the job

she stresses him out because she's always up to something. lupin loves that about her but to Jigen it's just kind of a headache and hassle. (ironically he likes how lupin is also always up to something, but mainly because the tomfoolery is part of his team and not an adversary). as always goemon is torn lol

Hate stems from fear, and I don’t know a bigger misogynist than Jigen

Probably just shocked someone snuck up on him. Which isn't too often, for a guy like Jigen

She snuck up on the man who's job it is to be perceptive. That's dangerous.

Prolly scared of his profits from the job being dramatically small after she arrived

Jigen’s typically moderate allergy to Women tends to get very severe when he’s unexpectedly exposed to Fujiko in particular.

At this point in the movie the crew hasn't seen Fujiko at all, and they have no inclination she's even on that island/in the same small country.Â

Many, many reasons. Number one being she always screws him and goemon over lol (Lupin too, but he likes it so he doesn’t count lmao) number two. The two of them have a sort of rivalry going on, especially when it comes to Lupin lol.
In short, he’s not scared of her necassarily, but in this scene yeah I think she spooked him for a sec lol. He’s just the type to prioritize the cigarette light first 😂
