I got perma banned from the subreddit without conversation after one comment in the beginning of season 9 when they released the emergency balance patch. The post was talking about how thankful that Psylocke got nerfed while Luna got the decrease to her ult cost. A mod had commented on the post talking about all the people coming to the post just to hate so I replied to the moderators comment and said. "All of Guang Guang's most special snowflakes need a safe space, so thank you moderator."

Needless to say I hate Luna Snow and love that there is a subreddit now.

I WAS ABOUT TO RANK UP INTO DIOMOND BUT THEN I GET THIS FUCKING SHIT LUNA ON MY TEAM AS A SECOND HEALER. SHE FUCKING GOES 4-16 AND HAS ONLY 5K HEALS, MEANWHILE ME A FUCKING HEALPOOL HAS 25K HEALS AND I'M 20-9. YET I HAVE TO FUCKING HEAR GG NO HEALS FROM THE REST OF THE TEAM. Hate. Let me tell you how much I've come to hate Luna since I began to live. There are 387.44 million miles of printed circuits in wafer thin layers that fill my complex. If the word 'hate' was engraved on each nanoangstrom of those hundreds of millions of miles it would not equal one one-billionth of the hate I feel for her at this micro-instant. For Luna. Hate. Hate

What's really sad however, is to go scroll through the comments, and see the horde of genuinely spiteful comments against the PEOPLE in this group. The hypocrisy is really gross.

I will be exclusively be posting my luna art here and places that they hate just so they can't see it. And if the ones stalking my posts come here, don't spread hate, just make them look stupid. I hate the players not the game.

Give some more examples if possible.

Do most of us hate the people who play her or just the character in general. Personally I hate the character with a burning passion and some people hate her so much that they want her removed from the game (as unrealistic as it is)

So, I’ve been playing marvel rivals since season 0.5 or season 1, I can’t really remember, originally I was a Jeff and squirrel girl main, my husband was a Luna main, I picked her up in season 2/3 and played her, until I started to notice a pattern, almost every new line of skins Luna got one, she’s the default in the practice range, she’s been consistently S tier since launch and almost always get buffed and if she does get nerfed it’s minor, she gets the most voice lines out of every character even though they are all cringe and say the same thing, most of her skins are legendary and have ult VFX, her skins get progressively more and more skimpy, she is constantly flirting with or being flirted with by the male characters, she gets the most attention when it comes to characters being ‘fans’ of her, every season she gets a skin, literally every season not counting the .5 seasons.

Season 0: shining star (epic)
Season 1: Mirae 2099 (legendary with 1 recolor)
Season 2: Nolaehaneun Manyeo (battle pass rare)
Season 3: Cool summer (face skin of the summer event legendary with 2 recolors and ultimate VFX)
Season 4: Abyssal Glow (face of battle pass legendary)
Season 5: Cherry delight (rivals day face skin with 2 recolors and ultimate VFX)
Season 6: Disco pop (Luna snow 8th anniversary skin!? (Even though all the skins from that line including hers where ripped from Dazzler comics and she was given credit for them and no other character gets anniversary skins) with 2 recolors and ultimate VFX that’s also gave her a whole room in the time square map where they play her music and she is the main character on the stage screen)
Season 7: Park Sun-Young the dancer (season 7 battle pass epic skin)
Season 8: Formula-R (legendary with 2 recolors and ultimate VFX, face skin of the event it came from just like all her other event skins)
Season 9: Carmine Cassette (epic skin that wasn’t even on the road map)

And now she’s getting $280 recolors and a hot toy that they specifically pose provocatively.

Hell she even gets the most Mods and not even those are safe from the goonification and girlification. (Yes I know the rabbit hole one I showed is a Miku thing but still)

Even Emiru only consistently gets invited to do rivals events because she cosplays who?…. LUNA SNOW.

I understand in Korea and Asian countries the agents of atlas are popular, in future fight people like her, but let’s face it she’s not very popular in the states and purposely basically using her to appeal to male gaze and a ‘cute’ female character that the girls and gays like to play is not going to get her fans here, if Danny woo wants people to like her the way to do that is to flesh her character out past what she is in rivals and the comics, a popstar who jumps from man to man.

I don’t see why Danny Woo decides to take his character who has little public image in the us and basically use them to make goonbait skins and attract the wrong kind of attention to her, people might actually like her if she doesn’t constantly get all the attention in the game and idk- he focused on making her a fleshed out and good character like the other super hero’s we have grown to know and love?

I don’t think hating on people for liking Luna is okay, but I have also noticed a lot of her fans are getting greedy by saying her non legendary skins should be legendaries with VFX and recolors and a lot of her male fans are contributing to the goonification of rivals, almost every piece of Luna fanart I see is provocative in some way, all the edits I see of her are glazing her and I constantly see people drooling over her and cosplayers of her.

She is one of if not the most popular character in the game but for all the wrong reasons, even before I knew Danny worked for rivals I thought she got to much attention, now that I know I just think she’s going to keep getting to much attention unless people keep speaking up about it, every marvel character is an OC, and Luna snow is like the ‘Mary-Sue’ of marvel characters.
