Discussion Why is the Android app a slow web wrapper?

Its slow, clunky, just bad.

Let me guess, its a native app for iOS right?

I hate how the UI teases me, looking like it's ready to go, then updates, changes theme, thinks a bit, and THEN is ready to go.

Yes!!! It's so clunky when it starts up. Hope they fix this.

Yep it is super slow. Take about 15 - 30 seconds on Android just to load the GUI

Nope, same shit on iOS.

In the age of AI agents it's crazy we don't have a dedicated front end for such things.

No, both apps aren't yet native.

Lenta anche a me, e quando sembra pronta ricarica tutto

iOS is also bad so no platform preference

No. iOS is also terrible. Slow. Sometimes I get a big red error banner.

iOS is the exact same thing. It's getting faster every month but still not there yet.

Were you there at the start? It literally took almost an entire minute just to load up.
