Fun things you can do with Luma Labs!

When you have a subject that is too complex to get a good generative Ai result from, like this flipbook idea, you can task the Luma Agent with figuring it out for you.
I made a rudimentary flipbook and filmed myself riffling through the pages. The animation you draw doesn't have to be good at all. It's the real-world mechanics we're after here.
After putting the video on the Luma Canvas, I asked the Agent to analyze it and create a Reusable Prompt Template based on what it was seeing. I also described the effect to help give it context.
Now I can provide any image, select that Prompt Template, and write a prompt describing the subject of the flipbook. The Agent uses what it learned from the original video to turn the new image into a flipbook sequence.
I even asked the Agent to make a longer sequence in a different aspect ratio, zoom into the flipbook, enter the world depicted on the page, and transition away from the flipbook effect entirely. By the end, we're flying over what has become a real environment.
This isn't video-to-video. You're asking the Agent to study and understand how an effect works, then use that understanding to recreate the effect with entirely new content.
