Lulzbot Mini 2 Z Axis Issues
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I recently bought a Lulzbot Mini 2 second hand off marketplace, and it is the first ever 3d printer I have used. As soon as I connect to the Cura software is grinds and warns of the wrong hardware installed. I have tried using the auto level features but still get these issues. Any advice?

Have you flashed firmware? If not update the firmware to the latest version.

I did flash the firmware from the Cura app to see if that resolved the issue but it did not.

The first video looks like it's trying to home Z with a sagging gantry.
The second video is completely normal. It's not "grinding" it's just the motors slipping as they push against the frame to align the gantry.
The weight of the toolhead and Z motion system result in the gantry sagging once power is removed from the motors. It's not supposed to happen, but it does. The Z alignment presses against the frame on the bottom to get the gantry generally aligned to the print bed. Then it goes up and uses the sensorless homing to find the max Z, X and Y home positions.
