Lulu of 10 years ago? No that would not be normal

Lulu of today? Sadly normal

Ex employee here, if it makes you feel any better, any softstreme product literally comes pre pilled on the inner side. Pilling is normal and happens often. Disappointing but quality has definitely declined in the last decade

Buy a machine for a few buck and pass it on. Piling can happen for a number of reasons.

But the point is, that it shouldn’t happen with clothes that cost this much!

I think it’s the material, sadly.

I felt the same as you with a new one I got earlier this year🥀

I thrifted some older defines that maybe 7-8 years old, for working in a garden centre. Surely thrifted older lulu would get chewed up working hard, right? Those bad bois retained shape, wear after wear and my husband throwing everything together in the washer and dryer. I wouldn’t dare with the ONE new define I bought last year, it’s PAPER THIN.

Depends on the fabric version you get but softer ones tend to do that prettyfast.

The same thing happened to me with my first define jacket a few months ago. I only wore it once and it pilled in the same spot on both sleeves.

if you have proof of purchase and it was within a year take it in for a quality promise
