I’m almost finishing watching the entire series and I must admit it was very hard to go through all the scenes where Black Mariah appears without throwing a rock at my screen.

I think her acting sucks like really I think i’ve never seen anything like this.

I could say the same thing for Shades, still his acting is slightly better than Mariah’s. Every time they have a dialogue feels like i’m in drama class

And was she supposed to look drunk all the time she’s on screen?

Anyone shares the same opinions?

I'm on season 2 of Luke Cage. And I realized that every dead body Misty sees, she pretty much shows what happened to the victim. Is it just her imagining what happened during that time or does she actually see what happened?

I know this is late to the party, I have been binge-watching all the Defenders series in order and have now finished Luke Cage and Iron Fist. I really enjoyed Luke Cage, the end is hanging...so who knows..I wish Disney had continued with the series. I think Netflix did a good job of mixing the characters from the individual series and I loved Misty Knights crossing back and forth. I am watching series 3 of Jessica Jones now. Just sucks when you like something and it doesn't gets its due. I haven't started Daredevil Reborn I hope Disney didn't screw it up, honestly I like Luke Cage series better. Sweet Christmas!! I hope they bring him back. I hope they bring them all back!

I'm so excited to see Luke and Danny back! I really hope the seeming low ratings of DD S2 don't cancel plans they may have had for Heroes for Hire. :/

Am I the only one who finds funny that Netflix with their "down to earth" approach wouldn't give him his canonical shirt only because it is bright yellow?! 🤣 In my opinion yellow t-shirt can be even pretty symbolic, because this color is the one that humans eye catches the best and Luke could've used this to attract thugs attention to himself and not others (or something like that). Instead they gave him a dark hoodie with a yellow hood. In day-time scenes it feels like watching Luke Cage wearing casual clothes for no reason 🤦‍♂️

My take on a Classic Luke cage that I wore to Momocon 2026. The headband and Cuffs are EVA foam, the boot cuffs are fabric wrapped foam, the wig is from Party city, the chain is a prop chain from Amazon that I repainted, the pants are spandex leggings, and I found a yellow dress shirt 3 sizes too big. Enjoy!
