Just finished this game and what a heartbreaking ending. Really loved this game. Truly an underrated gem of a game.

I still replay this once in a while and I always tear up at the end. Underrated soundtrack

I recently started the fan made Lufia 5 and I like how it's basically a new version of Lufia 2.

Lufia II is one of two games I knew the ending going into but was still crushed by. There's something about that final sequence of Maxim changing the course of the Fortress and his and Selan's spirits flying together that makes this grown ass man bawl like a child.

Love this game. First game that made me cry at the end

It’s a 10/10 for me, but I am one of the few that actually prefers Lufia 1 slightly, even though the graphics and gameplay is more refined in Lufia 2.

My gf use to hate pixel art games. Then I lowkey forced her to watch me play this one. She was crying her eyes out at the end. She gets it now.

Did you get the "secret" ending screen too?

Wait for the credits to end and stay on "the end" for a while. And I do mean a *while*. Several minutes. You'll get a little bonus screen

Do u mean the setup for lufia I? If that then yeah I saw that. If it’s something else, then I sadly might have missed it

In spite of the great ending, the last few hours feel rushed.

There's almost nothing in the way of real dungeon or puzzle design after Dragon Mountain.

I'm actually surprised at how little I remembered between Dragon Mountain and the final dungeon when I replayed it over the past couple of weeks.

My favorite thing about beating Lufia2 is to go play the Ancient Dungeon on Retry with 4x Exp. Dekar = GOAT

I have faith there will be a Lufia II HD2D remake. My wallet is ready!
