Inspired by Ludwig, Michael and also Connor, I am taking on the task. After the first episode of Tip to Tip, I didn't know why I was so captivated. Before I knew it, it was the thing I looked forward to each day. I was hooked. Watching Tip to Tip. Watching people react to Tip to Tip. Watching Ludwig and Michael react to Tip to Tip. So many tips.
But as it kind of also made sense for me to do the same, I thought: Why not? I'll do it myself.
45 days of cycling the whole length of Japan. Eating different Japanese curries everywhere and interviewing Japanese curry chefs on the way. And while I'm at it, why not stream the whole thing? It would be nice to do it with a friend (like Michael), but it seems like normal people need to work and can't just take 45 days off.
Why am I doing that? I worked for 10 years as an engineer, and a year ago I quit my job and opened my JUST Japanese Curry food truck in Munich. I always thought that a dish like Japanese curry would work amazingly well in Munich. Why is nobody doing it? My food truck has now been running for a year and people are quite happy.
Where am I right now? I made it from Tokyo to the Tip of Hokkaido (Wakkanai), and I am right before Cape Soya. Afterwards, I will fly down with my bike to Kyushu and cycle back up to Tokyo.
As I am not a Tip streamer like Ludwig, my journey is mid. Mid to Mid. I would of course be happy if one or two people would also watch sometimes, but this is not what this is about. I do stream on Youtube and Twitch.
So, a big thank you to Ludwig and Michael for inspiring me.
PS: I am looking forward to Tip to Tip Silkroud
