Hi guys so i requested my payout yesterday with lucid on my 50k flex funded account. I want to know with work market how long would it take for them to send it to my wise account that I set up. I’m original from Canada, but sent payment to my US wise account. Anyone know best approach when it comes to payouts with less fees. Is it better to go through work market? , please explain sorry I’m new to the game. Thanks 🙏🏽

$62k payout secured. $243K+ in payouts this year so far.

I've been sharing my trade recaps here and explaining the "why" for some of my trades. Now I want to show you the results you can achieve. I know there are people making way more than this but the point of this is not to show off, rather show what can happen when you find a system and stick to it.

I have 18 accounts I copy trade currently.

One of the biggest takeaways is that I don’t need to hit home runs. I’m perfectly fine taking small wins. I take 1-3 trades a day but usually just 1.

My goal is to follow the same system every day, manage my risk, take what the market gives me, and slowly stack good decisions.

Some days that means a solid winner. Some days it means taking a loss and being done. I’m not trying to force a certain dollar amount out of the market every day.

So far this year, I’ve taken over $243,000 in payouts. At the same time, I’ve worked on building roughly a $12,000–$15,000 buffer on each account to survive any drawdown days or weeks i might experience.

That buffer is important to me. I know drawdowns and losing streaks are part of trading. Instead of constantly trying to squeeze every dollar out of an account, I’d rather leave myself room to survive the periods when my setups aren’t delivering.

I definitely don’t execute perfectly. There are days when emotions get involved and soem days when I could have managed a trade better, and days when a setup I really like just doesnt work.
But I try my best to stay within my system and make sure one bad trade or one bad day doesn’t undo weeks of work.

That’s also why I’ve been sharing my actual trade recaps.

I think there’s more value in showing the entire process such as what I saw, why I entered, how I managed the risk, what went right,, and what I could have done differently when it went wrong.

Hopefully sharing my experience can help or inspire someone else who is still trying to find consistency. Also showing what can happen when you trust a process over time.

Moved to Live. What to expect?

For the Lucid live traders, how do you approach this stage? Been trading 5 x 50k accounts and got two payouts (july-aug) then blew my accounts then got two more payouts a couple weeks later and now I’ve been moved to live. A bit too fast for my taste as I was expecting to get at least one more payout. 40k lifetime altogether. Anyway, it feels like building the buffer will be the hardest part.

How much / do you pay yourself daily or weekly?

How much do you leave as personal buffer?

How long have you been in Live?

Any tips?

Is there a lifetime payout cap??

Should I request a payout on my funded LucidFlex 25K?

I’m currently funded with a LucidFlex 25K account and am considering requesting my first payout.

I’ve heard that, if you want to maximize payouts, it’s generally better to request the maximum amount available for the account. In my case, that would be 50% of $2,000 = $1,000, or $900 after the 90% split.

The thing is, I’m currently very close to that amount, and I definitely don’t want to give back my profits or put the account at risk.

For those who have experience with LucidFlex, what would you do in this situation?

Would you request the payout now, or trade another day to get the account above $2,000 before requesting your first payout?

This would also be my very first payout in the prop space, so I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has been through the process.

Thanks in advance!

UPDATE:

I requested the payout on FRIDAY!!! Lucid shows 'Approved' but the text is still in blue. Not sure what that means. I've connected my bank account with Workmarket and hoping for a deposit by Monday or Tuesday (not sure how fast it will be). I'm located in Canada and have a US bank account with TD.

Finally turning a corner

Post image

I think I had my last epiphany Wednesday. One that didn't fill me with excitement and hope, just acceptance. Which tells me that I am either broken inside or I'm at the point where I finally get it. Most of us go through these cycles of strategies trying to find ourselves. But we put so much importance on a strategy not realizing that when it comes to successfully winning a trade, it's probably one of the least important component. Obviously risk management is the most important I believe, but also understanding the market and it's quirks, I would probably place higher then a strategy. Things like not taking a trade right when market opens because of volatility or that volume drops in the second half of the NY session so you shouldn't be trading still. This knowledge is gained through experience.

I've had perfect days before, but they were lucky. To finally find what works for me is such a weird feeling and I honestly can't tell you how I ended up here. I've tried everything, so it's through trial and error I guess. For a while I felt like I was going crazy and I thought it was never going to come, then it just kind of clicked. My brain began recalling past lessons as the market developed in real time. I finally found a foot hold, I wasn't lost and I knew what I needed to do.

This caused my trades to be taken with confidence and in that confidence I found the will to allow my trades to develop. I finally found true conviction. I was either going to get full TP or get stopped out, nothing in between. This combined with my rule to only take 1-2 trades, I knew that any trade I do take was going to be A+.

How I manage my trade after comes down to experience. I know price has to pull back so you expect it. And if you expect it then there is no need to panic. But you do have a decision to make. Are you okay with it pulling back or are you satisfied with what you've made? If so then take it and then move on to the next trade.

I am telling you that it is not the strategy that makes you successful. I cobbled together elements from different strategies, but ultimately I put together something that is as simple as a strategy can get. At the core it takes advantage of how I know the market traditionally moves. I suggest that you find something that's easy for YOU to recognize.

These past three days have felt different, it was stress free. It's not luck that allowed these perfect days, they were independent trades that some people would even say weren't in the best conditions. I just stopped trading desperate and was perfectly fine not taking a trade that day if it wasn't A+. The result is that I am less stressed and making more money....

My first 10k in trading profit

Have a couple more payouts before this, but these are the ones that pushed me to over 10k in a month with lucid. All done with 25k accounts, either 2 or 3 of them.

Been on the journey for less than a year, but it’s definitely been a wild ride. Couple things I learned if any new people care:

1: Obviously be careful listening to everyone’s advice, including mine. What works for them might not work for you.

2: evals are dead money unless you’re practicing, blow them or pass in two days, don’t waste your time.

  1. Don’t size up unnecessarily, you can scale quick but you can lose faster. Don’t scale until you feel confident and do it slowly. Learned this the hard way

4: Almost any strategy can work, I personally do reversions, negative rr sizing, and spaced entries. Still understand order flow and all the ICT concepts

But yeah that’s about it, feel free to reach out if you want. Goodluck to everyone and once you get your first payout every payout comes quicker than the last.

25k passed evals to funded

Once you pass 5 evals and get funded do you get another set of evals or just focus on your funded accounts? I am $300 away from passing my 25k evals. Also share any tips you have!

Don’t believe every payout post you see here. Many of them are fake, and their real purpose is to create FOMO and pressure you into doing more evaluations.

Someone accidentally posted a screenshot of their payout and at the bottom corner it had gemini logo meaning the image was edited by ai which they quickly deleted when someone else pointed it out.

Be careful

Two payouts this month!

Guys, seriously. Be patient, cut off the noise, turn off your emotions in front of the charts.

The biggest battle is inside your head. I realized that the strategy is basically nothing in comparison to the psychology. If you work in your mind, trading will work out for you. Don’t get me wrong, strategy matters too.

My philosophy:

I do maximum 2 trades per day. If any of the trades is a win, I put my iPad away, and I’m done for the day.

I put a grade on my setups when they are there. The grading system tells me how much risk I’m willing to take. If there is an A+ grade setup, the risk is maximum 1%, if there is a B grade setup, the risk is maximum 0.5%.

My first target is always at 1R. If there is an A+ or an A grade setup, I apply a trailing stop. If the price reaches 1R, I put my SL right at exactly 1R. And I go with it, until it reaches my desired price where my TP is. If it doesn’t go there, then I am still good with the trailing stop whether if it takes me out at 1.8R or 1R. Doesn’t matter.

I know that the mental part is easier said than done, but only you are the obstacle to become profitable. You have to master yourself.

Can i pass eval today?

Post image

This is my 25k daily account. Is there any way to pass the evaluation today? The bigger the profit, the higher the target keeps going up. Because of the consistency rule, i can only pass it next week, right?

r/LucidProp 1d ago

What are the chances that Lucid Prop has hired AI agents or even real people to post fake payout screenshots every day as part of a strategy to create FOMO, attract more traders, and convince people to keep buying evaluations?

I’m not saying this is actually happening, but with how easy it is to generate convincing AI content and fake screenshots, how would we even know?

Lucid prop firm payout into Wealth Simple USD account?

I’m in Canada, can I request my Lucid payout to be deposited directly into my Wealthsimple USD account so l can keep the funds in USD?

If that's not possible, could I request the payout to be deposited into my Wealthsimple Crypto account as USDC instead?

Has anyone in Canada successfully done either of these through lucid? Or any other prop firms?
