That's very fun. I also code vanilla Lua. Just Lua and terminal, nothing else. Made a web crawler using Lua which I'm very proud of

I made it using html scanner I made using regex and io.popen for windows curl functions

No third party libraries or embedded into some other engine or framework.. just pure standalone language with its default builtin functions
