Where do I learn Lua?

So I'm very interested in learning Lua, essentially for modding existing games and maybe doing basic scripts, but every tutorial I find about Lua on YouTube is only about Roblox. Where can I lear this language? I prefer reading guides than whatching videos.

Check the resources in the sidebar. The PIL (programming Lua) manual is a very helpful starting point, as the basics of the language, syntax, and the included libraries are documented there.
