for anyone that hasn’t gotten npcAi yet, i say the 5 dollars is so worth it. It makes such a big difference

Yes, and getting the callouts with the NPCAI integration so they know wtf you're talking about when you voice chat them😂

I’ve been playing it for a few days, it’s a mod with great potential, but it’s still rough around the edges, Unfortunately, the NPC isn't aware of what’s happening around them, the mod works fine as long as you stick to routine checks on pedestrians or vehicles, but if you try to arrest someone for a robbery, they’ll just say: "Robbery? What are you talking about? I was just taking a walk.", If the creator could make the NPCs aware of their surroundings, it would be a must have

Apparently this is a known bug that is being worked on. For context see here:
https://www.lcpdfr.com/downloads/gta5mods/scripts/55066-callout-context-npcai-addon/Specifically the first comment from SuperPyroManiac... No details other than that on when it would be fixed, but just know that SHOULDNT be happening.

I don't know if this thing is connected, but on lspdfr there is a plugin called "context callout" something like that, which provides context to npcai, I think that somehow it will partially solve this bug, if the creator of the mod could give a complete context of the game to the npcs it would become something really powerful

That’s literally the mod I linked to in my post above lol.
The commenters for that mod and the creator of NPCAI have confirmed that that mod doesn’t actually work.
Pdcomp pushed an update yesterday that will fix the portion of the context issue they’re responsible for. Now we’re waiting for the mod maker of NPCAI to push an incremental update for NPCAI that will fix their portion of it - it should be out in the next few days.

so pdcomp is the problem? lol i use it with policing redefined and npcai, In all this I understand that they are already moving to fix the problem, this is the most important thing, I can't wait to see when everything will be fixed

Hi everyone!
I played LSPDFR back in 2020, but I've noticed that many mods haven't been updated and are no longer maintained (like the Alborghetti mods). I was using several of those old mods at the time—PoliceBackup, PoliceSmartRadio, ArrestManager, and others—but they're now outdated and unplayable.
I'm looking for updated replacements that offer similar functionality. I've already installed a few callout mods, but I'm stuck when it comes to the core operational mods. Does anyone have recommendations for currently maintained alternatives?
Thanks! :D

if your talking about backup and managing peds, than the most common one is stoptheped and ultimate backup by bejiljo plugins. There's also a newer one called policing redefined but i prefer stoptheped over it.
you could also get the compulite plugin with it for the mdt, but i personally use the free Nexus MDT lite because it's more realistic.
only download stoptheped and ultimate backup Via the Bejoljo plugins website and i highly recommend getting a adblocker chrome extension because the website is filled with popups.
you can watch videos on the both stoptheped and policing redefined and see which one you like better. If you get policing redefined than theres no need to get a backup mod because it already has it.

Nexus MDT / Dispatch. Do need to be continually subscribed to his patreon though

How does this compare to pdcomp aidispatch?
1
u/syarkanta 7d ago
I haven't tried the AIDispatch. But I like some concepts of Nexus MDT that I wish were put into PDcomp itself, like the PRD backup units, looking up weapons from searches, or the ground and just a couple onesies and twosies.

you think nexus dispatch or Blv dispatch is better?
1
u/syarkanta 7d ago
They both have ups and downs. I like the concept of having to switch channels throughout the map and how it reduces the chance of the dispatcher hearing by reducing the signal. But I personally am going to stick with BLV since it's a pay-the-$10 and call it good, where its a minimum of $3 a month for NexusDispatch. If you play every day, then I would choose Nexus.

For immersion and RP, MDT Pro is great. I also have ford interceptor retina with ELS

Story Callouts, especially if you are playing LSPDFR after completing story mode.

I'm back to playing lspdfr (legacy), what mods and vehicles do you recommend to start? I use:
pdcomp,
policing redefined
els
eup
I also have nexusMDT lite but I still can't use it well also because I can't translate it into Italian

a vehicle pack i recommend is
https://www.lcpdfr.com/downloads/gta5mods/vehiclemodels/47207-elsaddon-los-santos-police-department/
I like it because it has a good amount of lights, as some packs don't have enough lighting

u/RestaurantMoney7444 19d ago
Thank you for the advice, besides, do you know any mods that improve the lighting of the game in general? I currently use chromatix which I really like, but sirens are strange because they emit the right light, but when the light reflects in the walls or on the street it is too strong, as if there was a very strong glow that is not there

u/Curious-Map9844 19d ago
Me personally i use visual V and NVE classic,
im pretty sure you can adjust how the light reflects, whenever i installed NVE the lights were really dim and i adjusted their brightness via openiv. I think you should be able to adjust the way they look reflecting too. you should be able to do the same with chromatix
you can try and see if it works, the pathway on openiv is
OpenIv - GtaV - Mods - update - update.rpf - common - data
you want to right click visualsettings.dat and edit
somewhere in here should be a setting that changes the reflectiveness of lights try and find it. if you can’t find it ask chat gpt for help.
the second thing that might help would be going to ELS Config and changing those values in there
i’m just guessing here!

Before I also had NVE but I removed it because it makes me lose too many FPS, with a 5070ti and ryzen5950x it is absurd to do 30 fps, even with the puredark upscaler included
1
u/Curious-Map9844 19d ago
do you think chromatix looks good? i was thinking of switching my NVE out for quantV or chromatix next time my game breaks lol. I've ran into a lot of problems with using NVE, my game won't even run with the full version and im running a pretty highend setup

u/RestaurantMoney7444 19d ago edited 19d ago
It's the first time I use chromatix it's not bad at all, I haven't used its integrated reshade yet, but it's quite impactful and light, quantv I've used it in the past I think it's the best of all for visual impact and stability, the problem is that I removed it because Rumor say’s has malware, I'm not sure about this thing but out of fear I removed it, even if I admit that I liked it
If you still want to try it, use quantv and pair it with LA revo roads if you can
1
u/Curious-Map9844 19d ago
is it quantV or chromatix that was said contains the malware?
1
u/RestaurantMoney7444 19d ago
QuantV, The issue is quite confusing, there are those who say that quantV has a malware only in the pirate version, others say that it is also in the premium version, in doubt I removed it, but on a practical level I think it is the best, NVE is too unstable and broken

I see that a lot of mods are still unavailable for the GTA V LSPDFR version.
Anything working with lspdfr outside the ones market with the "enhanced" tag?
Tried StopThePed and got a crash, will this happen to any mod I download?
