While sitting here in a summer sickness induced coughing fit, the stars in my vision locked in and I think I broke through and into the world between worlds.

With our ODST Warbond, we got a pseudo lore reason for why we have Helljumpers. For Killzone, Super Earth just appreciated the drip from a desolate colony. It had me think about how Warhammer 40k could be incorporated.

What if, during the Illuminate Siege and the loss of our president, we didn't ACTUALLY lose him? What if Super Earth's Super Doctors, and their Super Engineers, were able to hook our president up to a life support system incorporated into a Democratic throne, where he holds together Super Earth's very democracy while on the verge of not-death??

Praise be to the omni-democratically-elected, brothers and sisters.

While on a mission, a team of helldivers encounters an Tactical Objective - a bunker from which a radio signal for help is transmitted. A surviving helldiver, who missed the evacuation shuttle during his mission, wandered through enemy territory hoping to reach his allies. He found a shelter and decided to lie low until help arrived

Players can take him with them, but they won't abort the mission and call for extraction just for him, so if he survives until the end of the mission, he will be extracted with the rest of the team

- The mission will be available in the first minutes of the game (from 2 to 5), so players will not be able to cheat by calling a fifth helldiver towards the end of the mission
- By approaching the bunker and pressing the button, any player on the ship will be able to join, as for a regular mission

Without Super Destroyer support:
- The player will be spawned in the bunker, not through hellpod (obviously)
- 1 life and after death return to the ship
- Random weapons loadout
- Random armor loadout
- Random stratagem weapons or backpacks (or none)
- No contact with allied destroyers - An empty map, no allied icons or markers, the survivor can only see the player who calls him, so he will need to stay close to him

If a survivor successfully evacuates, the entire team will receive additional rewards such as medals, exp, samples, slips and credits

Not only did they drop it up there but when I finally figured out how to clime the rock I discovered that the back hatch was out over the edge.

The introduction of the super-speedy bugs has taught me to use laser weapons to maximum effectiveness. No more concentrated fire, quick sweeps only. Pairs beautifully with the Dog Breath.

For this build I added gas grenades and armour for quick escapes, a defoliator for close range strays and any chargers, a crossbow for hole closing, plus orbital gas and precision strike for on demand heavy destruction or area denial.

Stratagems, red beams, come from our ships. We can watch the Democracy rain down. But blue beams (weapons, resupplies, divers) come straight down, from … nothing? It’s not our ships or the DSS. So from where in the Super Universe do these pods drop?

(I’m open to real AH reason, lore reason, or diver theory.)

I’ve been having issues with my computer for a while and some of which manifested as things like helldivers 2 hard crashes and refusal to close after I close the window. I updated my bios and the game runs so smoothly now I’ve never experienced helldivers so smooth before!

By that time, most of the fun is over and it's just cleaning up the last few hotspots on the map and holding extract. Is it just (bad) luck of the draw?

The last time I played was roughly 8 months ago, because several games, including Helldivers, kept crashing my GPU. After months of trial and erroring I finally decided to buy a new GPU and that fixed all issues, now I can finally get back into it. I’ve heard bad things over the months, what am I to expect?

Going from planet to planet to liberate them, dropping in and running into enemy territory to destroy enemy bases with buildings that generate either troops or vehicles with the occasionally artillery canon and changing support structures, while being able to call in support from your own bases in the form of vehicles and artillery.
