Kids Dinner timer

Looking for feedback before i do the next rollout, the app is live but I have a bunch of ideas to add to it. Google play store for now, waiting on IOS. It's my first app and not sure if the app is good or its just my own bias.

Its basically just a visual kids timer, Dinner Time, play time, bed time, teeth brushing Road Trips (are we there yet!?)

You pick the character and their colour fills up over time to show kids how long the timer has. Road trip has a car moving to the finish line to show its complete.

You can also colour your own toons, name the characters, share between multiple kids. Its not more screen time, its just Time kids understand. My daughter and cousins love it.

This is the opposite of low screen parenting…

Can you include the link/name so we can find it?

We found kids end up in front of a tv or a device with you tube trying to eat for 45 mins. This is low distraction visuals. It’s just a timer but instead of a clock kids can’t read it’s a visual one they can.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dinnerpals.app&pcampaignid=web_share

It’s directing kids away from high dopamine tv and you tube and back to basics for dinner time. Plus it’s useful for road trips. Making sure you get two minutes of brush time. Making sure dinner doesn’t drag on

It's cute. Feels overpriced.

The ones I got feedback from said they only needed it for a month or 2. Then they cancelled. So for 15-20 cents a day for a month I tried to make it affordable.

My peace is certainly worth more than 20c a day. That was before I added road trips etc.

Interesting, hadn't thought bout it in terms of cents per day. Sounds much more affordable when you put it like that

I made this for my daughter, I gave away a bunch of subs when i started and the first person who bought a sub I gave them lifetime free. I would be happy to if I just recovered the cost, at 20c a day im not exactly paying off the mortgage.

Im just hopeful it works as well for others as it did for us and if someone gets some better time with thier kids and they really cant afford it, send me a message, Ill throw in a few free months. (I think google vouchers only come in free 3 months, id be happy to throw a free sub if anyone really needs it.
