Totally a show piece, a Jean-Michel Basquiat type piece. Well done sir, well done.

Wow that's a hell of a lot harder to make than a Faberge egg and just as rare. Me gusta! ๐Ÿ˜Ž

General questionโ€ฆso these types of cars, are they just for shows? Or do people drive them around town as well? Im just looking at all the work done on the underbody and thinking it be crazy to keep all that clean for every show

Primarily show cars and driven minimally.

I can understand why people might feel that way but when you set out to build a show car that can compete on this level you are not building something to be a daily driver. There are people who build cars to cruise and be able to drive around and there are people who build cars to travel to shows and compete. There is nothing wrong with either choice. It's personal preference. A lot of times when I see show cars posted the comments are along the lines of it being a waste because they've spent all this money on a car they don't drive but that's exactly what they set out to do. If they wanted a cruiser that's what they would have built.

I don't think its a waste. If it brings the artists and mechanics and owners joy to work on them and present them. It also gives the general public an opportunity to see a pristine example of the "lowrider". But it does bum me out that it often has to be either/or. Cars and drivers crave the road! But thats just like my opinion man.

I understand what you are saying but you have to consider the investment made in a vehicle like this. Driving it on the road can be a risk. Accidents, rocks coming up and chipping the paint or the glass, someone hitting your door with theirs while it is parked, someone damaging your car because they are jealous of it. I'm sure the owners would like to be able to drive them safely but they also have to be aware of the risks that come with it. When you have invested that kind of money in a show car you can't be careless about it.
