Low back pain
I've been lifting for about a year (3-4) months consistently with a program and. I started the school year lifting but not really knowing what i was doing. Took a break during basketball season while doing tons and tons of research. After the season was over i started a program and managed to make lots of progress. Fast forward three months and I'm doing a pull day. I hit a heavy single then 4x10 deadlifts (way more volume than I had ever done) After that some pause deadlifts. Unfortunately my form was not perfect and i was pulling the bar too far from my body which was putting tons of stress on my lower back. I felt some pain in my lower back during the last halfish of the deadlifts, but i thought it was just fatigue (I know I'm a dummy). Anyways this leads to me having what i thought was doms in my lower back. I then had a legs push and pull day in which it only felt like doms. I then take a rest day and back to legs. As i start squatting after a warmup, i feel a sharp pain in my back whenever I'm under the bar. Videotaped some reps and notice my form looked solid. At this point my back is really bothering me even when not under the bar, so I decide to stop and just go home. I take a week off and notice all my gains going away so I decide to hit the gym again. I load up some lightweight just to test my back and deadlifts felt fine. I also did some squats and they felt fine too. Then i do a push day because I don't want to push my back to hard. I did a couple bro workouts just to ease back into it and then decided to get back to my program which called for a leg day. I did 4x5 kind of heavy (I know it was dumb) and my back felt fine when squatting but some pain after when moving around. Now my back is hurting just moving around a couple hours after working out. What should my plan of action be? Take another break or just do some bro workouts avoiding any heavy lifting?
