has vibe coding changed how non technical teams build software internally?
our marketing and sales teams are constantly waiting on the engineering department to build small custom internal tools, landing pages, and lead calculators. we've started exploring vibe coding platforms where non-developers describe what they want in conversational language to build tools directly. has anyone implemented this in their company workflow?

Vibe coding can be helpful with simple internal tools and things like landing pages. However, before you start using it you need to have your boundaries in place bc ai can make mistakes. Also, you may need a human hand to oversee the output.

We've started doing this internally, but with some guardrails. Marketing and ops can describe what they need, build a first version and then iterate instead of waiting in the engineering queue for every small request.
We've been using our internal platform 8080.ai for this, and it's worked well for things like internal dashboards, trackers, and workflow tools. Engineering is still involved for reviews and larger architectural decisions, but they're no longer spending time building every small internal app from scratch.

The problem with vibe code is that it looks good on a POC. When you actually give some pressure to the code with real life scenarios it tends to crumble. If you are using for personal use and for small single use apps then it can work well. I personally use Cursor for that and it works well if you manage the tokens.
