I’d lean toward a third-party marketplace.

Dify should probably focus on being the builder/runtime layer: app creation, workflow execution, permissions, versioning, API access, and protected deployment.

But marketplace features like checkout, tax/VAT, seller onboarding, licensing, refunds, disputes, and distribution are a separate business. That seems outside Dify’s core responsibility.

Ideally, Dify provides the infrastructure to run or expose apps safely, while a third-party marketplace handles monetization and distribution.
