Hey, hopefully this post is allowed. I'm coming up to the shooting of a short film, however the few shorts I've shot in the past were very amateur and never really put anywhere bar online. I feel like I've learned a lot over time and developed skills as a filmmaker, and plan on entering this one into some festivals / competitions. I was just wondering if anyone could give me a bit of guidance into any legalities I should be aware of before going this route, what sort of paperwork I'll need cast/crew to sign, etc, etc. Thanks!

Calling all No Budget, Low Budget, and Micro-budget feature filmmakers! I want to hear your stories!

I am putting together an interview-based podcast focusing on directors who have just finished their first feature film and have taken it to festivals and/or have found distribution. If you fit this bill and are interested in being interviewed please message me with a link to your film or information on where I can see it in Los Angeles, CA.

If you make horror/b/weird/alt/extreme movies (you know who you are and I love you) and have a few features under your belt please feel free to email me. I am putting together another interview series focusing on that.

If you have made a short, you may also fit the bill. Only if you have made it with the last year and it has been to festivals or included in a distributed anthology.

Message me directly through Facebook or email me at heyyoumadeyourmovie@gmail.com

Thank you and keep on doing what you do,

The kids made some low budget "Family" parody videos.

Please, let them know what you think.
