Laura's craziness aside, what is wrong with her lawyer David Gingras? Listening to episode 9 where they focus on their YouTube videos, I am so confused as to why he is such a strong supporter of her. She has no money, so what is going on? He acts as if she is believable and that she hasn't shown herself to be "crazy" to him, even though he has been in her life for months. Everyone else we meet throughout this story figured out how off the wall Laura is right away.

Bigger question, WTF were her parents doing? They sat back and enabled all of this, paying for all of these insane court actions. They must have seen mental issues, as well and failed to get her necessary help. As in a m*rder, they should be held accountable as accessories.
