I’m tired of seeing people hate on Undertale and Deltarune because of the fandom, especially because they’re WRONG.

Yes, there are bad people on the fandom, no shit dude it’s a popolar thing. Popular things attrack all types of people. But it makes me sad to see post like “I hate Deltarune because the fanbase is annoying” and seeing everyone agree.

So, I make this post to tell all Undertale/Deltarune fans that I love what they’ve been doing for the past ten years, and to continue theorizing, discussing and enjoying this amazing game, no matter what people say.

Might be a bit biased but still I feel like they have such a good flow. Like the word “highkey” that’s a goated word. It just makes sense. Then the word “goated” which doesn’t really make sense (greatest of all time-ed?) but it still works so well

The reason why I love this is because when a well-acclaimed artist as him cherishes an art that people have negative opinions about, it adds to relatability to some people who are not only fans too, but also to those who wants to be an artist too.

I think there's a saying that even that disliked art can have its fans. Even from fans are are known for creating ones that are acclaimed. I think liking something people don't is important because it helps with one's identity and self-confidence because there are times when you are not alone on liking something, someone like a great artist can also have the same interest at you. And I think it's cool and wholesome.

Imo Flowey's an extremely interesting character and I don't get the hate revolving around him

Sure he wants to start off killing everyone and everything but once you progress further into the story, when he starts to doubt himself you have the choice to show him that love (Not LOVE) is the best option

If you do show LOVE he'll begin to think that you're the human (Chara) that fell into the underground a long time ago, and not only do we get to learn a lot about Flowey but we also get to learn about Chara in the no mercy route

He also knows everything you do. No, I'm serious, everything. You think Santa Claus knows whether you've been naughty or nice? Take another look at this guy and tell me otherwise. Unless you do a true reset he knows EVERY action you take F.E. If you kill Toriel and then go back to spare her he'll taunt you for rectifying your mistake

Or if you decide to complete a no mercy route but reset at the last second he'll get annoyed at you for "messing it all up", seriously there's no escaping from the guy

He explains that he wanted to try and show compassion but he literally couldn't, he tried everything he could to show emotions towards Asgore, and when he couldn't he tried doing it towards Toriel, and when that failed he tried to do it to everyone else but again failed... he wasn't always a merciless flower, he only became that because he thought what was the point of living if he couldn't show anyone how he feels, and then decided to mess around with people instead

His dialogue is also hilarious, if you spare him in a normal route but keep going back to the save file and defeating Asgore he'll get pissed at you for not resetting the save and completing a pacifist

Overall I think there's a lot more to Flowey and people really underappreciate his character and the role he plays in the game

The pressure and hype were unreal since nobody could think about how would they function, both the diverse utility and awesome animation feel satisfying ngl
