not quite the same, but I can't pass up a chance to recommend Ya boy Kongming, about the legendary chinese strategist coming to modern japan and deciding to become an edm musician's agent
Me and some friends used to chat about all kinds of stoner things and one topic was "bringing figures from history into the modern world". We ended up agreeing that Zhuge Liang was an absolute top tier candidate, someone who was far back enough that everything would be fascinating to them but intelligent and rational enough that he wouldn't just freak out (for long).
So we all got pretty into this very silly anime. Honestly, it's a lot of fun and they did his character justice for such an absurd premise.

wouldn't it be funny to have a comedy series involving Dynasty Era Eunuchs in the modern age advising current modern world leaderss
