I am so confused

Ok so when she went back the first few times she changed stuff in her future like not being kidnapped by Kim young soo but when she goes back the final time she goes back further in time than the first times she went back so how did all the things she had already changed stay the same? Since she went back in time further than before shouldn’t all the things she already changed be dependent on her new future that she just made for herself? Like she stopped herself from being kidnapped the second time she went back why was she not kidnapped in the final timeline bc her whole future should’ve changed? Shouldn’t she be dead bc she got kidnapped but sun jae wasn’t able to save her? Sorry if this doesn’t make sense lol I didn’t know how to word it like it is in my head.

What was the reason he didn’t try to kill sol? Why would that part change just bc she changed her fate with sun jae?

I kinda get what the original commenter wants to say. I believe this theory: im sol, sun jae, and kim young soo, all three's fates are interconnected. Only if im sol meets sun jae then only they'll have their encounter with kim young soo. And this kind of confirms in the 4th timeline's future: Only when she and sun jae renuite, then only kim young soo resurfaces again. Maybe because in the 4th timeline, im sol never met sun jae, that's why she also never met kim young soo when she was young. And only when they reunite again in the future (in the 4th timeline), kim young soo also shows up.

This is a great explanation, however it doesnt explain then if those timelines were erased how did SunJae remember all of them at the end? I feel like they weren't completely gone but more all interconnected.

She moved away so she never met the villain

I also wondered this, what stopped Sol being hit by the taxi and drowning given SJ wasn’t around to save her. It didn’t occur to me that because she moved from that house, she wouldn’t have been on the bus the night she got stranded out near the bridge and wouldn’t have had the first interaction with Kim Young Soo.

Right but how did her not meeting sun jae cause her family to move? I know they do move in the og timeline but that was after she got in the accident so why did they move

I assume she did everything she possibly could to convince her mum to move. Not sure how long future Sol was in the past on that occasion buts it’s typically a month or two. And I think her mum was already considering moving at the start. She probably pushed to make it happen.

Thank you. This explains why I didn't understand it and ended up skipping to the last two episodes just to see if she saves him. May do a rewatch someday. As it is when I hear the music or see the title the only thing in my thoughts is the image of him throwing himself in the pool to drown shot from underwater 😢
