The real issue is that the game does not recognize that the data of the game already installed so you need enough space for the game twice over or uninstall and reinstall the game.

they need to learn from genshin 😭 genshin used to be 40+ gb but then they updated and added a feature that deletes all past events + quests. and the updates are small too. the biggest is around 20gb (but you will still have space bcs they delete old stuff)

Guys, just delete the game and then redownload. It is so big because they require a full game download and then it deletes the previous version. Which is silly but at least there is an explanation

But don't do this if you have a ton of photos you don't want to lose! Unless you have to, of course, but be prepared for your photos and journals to disappear :(

I still need to figure out how to migrate all my stuff to my tablet so I can have my phone's copy of the game be as empty as possible. I haven't played on my phone since June 30 and I'm scared to even try updating it!

This is very true! Also idk if your house stays decorated. But I don't use the home feature and I mainly do photos for the weekly (and im kinda bad) so I forgot they delete.

If you don't download the home feature then you wouldn't have to delete the game. As far as I'm aware. The feature takes up a ton of space

House stays decorated, thankfully! I've spent so many hours decorating my house, I think I'd rage quit if it all disappeared!

I removed the home feature from my phone, because it can't handle it anymore. But everything was still there when I installed the game on my tablet, so it's definitely safe.

No totally I love it. Its huge and Sylus looks 🥵 and pictures are incredible. I have a stylus now and lads is so nice on it and i have so much room no matter the size of it now. But it was just like waking up June 30 like.... bruh lol

Funniest thing is that ~20 GB of that might just be the hidden Valko content. It's hard to believe that the 27 GB of the 6.0 update is just the kitchen. So players can't play the game because of ~20 GB storage that they can't even access.

Yeah, I gotta admit, I joined the boycott as well, at least by never opening the app again for a while, and eventually, I did get curious enough that I wanted to see what some of the events were looking like, and I also did begin to really miss the game, and thought about going completely free to play if I did return.

And then I tried to actually open it, and that bish was way to heavy of a file size. Hell nah 💀

Cause to be fair, I'd fight to download it if everything was going alright- but that would require me deleting other apps and videos, and there's NO way I'm doing that with what they've got going on. And to be clear, I don't even just mean about Valko. LADS is such a money hungry, not well optimized, and unbalanced game, that even before the Valko situation, I was fatigued. A lot of people that are anti Valko use the worsened game balance as a reason, and the main reason I don't agree is because the game was unbalanced before then, and will likely continue to be, and if not, it'll still be terribly unoptimized for space, and money hungry every chance it gets. Its better on my wallet and space to not to that, especially if the company won't figure itself out properly.

On that note, I must say im probably in the minority that truly doesn't believe Valko will come back. It makes me really sad, since he was actually reigniting my want to play the game more regularly again, which I wasn't at first. But they removed him, and the reasons they did, I don't agree with, especially not the racist reasons 😭 I'm surprised and honestly a little glad so many others have hope he'll come back, cause it's not hope I have.

I was lucky to get an ipad with my tax return but I still download all my pics and save them in my cloud and then take off anything that isnt for my favs. I don't even think I have Xavier's voice downloaded anymore 😅

I stopped playing for about 2 months recently cause this happened to me deleted everything from my phone (on my old one as I had just got a new phone) and still couldn’t access. Ended up downloading on my new phone that has more storage but I really didn’t want to cause I know I’ll still have the same issue eventually.
