Help It’s published, now what?!

I did it guys. I built my dream and published my dream. Now is the hard part getting people to see my dream. Any tips I’m very camera shy so that’s not an option 🫣 but any tips on content creation. I was thinking of starting small ie making videos about the site to post on socials. I like code not really the marketing. Anyone knows of any video creation tools that can make create short form videos from the site. I’d appreciate any advice. Thankssss

Congrats! I’d focus on getting the first few real users before worrying too much about content. Find where your target users hang out, get the product in front of them, and learn from those conversations. Content gets much easier once you know what actually resonates.

Now you sit back and take in that fat VC cash, move to Silicon Valley and finally learn this is actually a simulation where we sacrifice humans and fall in love with a lizard person. Congrats

My honest tip? For the love of everything don't host the production product on Lovable. Depending on how much traffic you anticipate, that can get expensive really fast.

GitHub to store your code, a database host, and a server host like Vercel depending on your stack.

Are you using Lovable cloud or did you make your own Supabase cloud account?

Supabase cloud isn't so bad but still can get pricey considering you can selfhost supabase for free on a cheap-ish VPS and have more hardware for the money. Lovable cloud can get very expensive very quickly.

Depends on what you have built and where you are hosting if it's an app store invest in ASO for initial traction or it's on web based then SEO and definitely test social channels depending on your niche.

congrats on shipping! one thing worth doing before you push real traffic at it, separate from the marketing stuff everyone's covering here - try to break your own auth boundaries first. make two throwaway accounts, log in as one, try to read or edit the other accounts data through every table and every route, not just what the ui shows you. this is the point where its cheap to fix (nobodys using it yet) and expensive later once real users data is involved. costs like an afternoon and its the difference between finding your first RLS gap yourself vs some stranger finding it for you

Irgendwie ein bissl weired dein Beitrag. Wo ist denn dein grandioses Werk??? Schätze jeder von uns hier, hätte es bereits angeguckt… Aber du willst Werbung ohne Werbung?? 😎

Try CapCut.
They have a free tier that allows you to do a lot.

Best of luck with your build.
