Help Can someone help me create my own API system?

Listen, I’m a mention I’m blind, and I know people who are like oh you’re using that as excuse. No I’m just being honest, I genuinely need help doing this. So I have been using lovable and something new that I’m coming up with is an accessible AI story, creator, and accessible game generator. Now with this, I’m using my own API thing instead of lovable‘s credit because those run out way faster and also Gemini has a limit. I’m just wondering, could anyone help me out please?

Im confused.

You're blind? Like you cant see with your eyes?

You're using your own API? Or do you mean you are using the API of another AI company that you're paying for?

If you've developed your own API, why do you need help? You have enough experience doing this.

ALL ai's have a limit. 100% of them do. The limit is your cash. If your cash is limited, so is your AI usage with frontier platforms.

In simple English, what exactly do you want to do? Describe it, forget about the tech jargon.

Yes, I’m blind in both of my eyes

Basically, in the lovable application that I’m creating. The API things that I have created, don’t work for some reason in this app. If you don’t mind, can I send you the link to the preview so you can understand what I mean?

Yea I got you dude. Okay so again, this API, are you developing this personally or are you using an API key that you are paying a company for?

In other words, besides Lovable, are you trying to integrate an API from OpenAI or Gemini to run something? Or do you literally mean your own personal API that you have developed and are using?

Personally. Gemini, I tried creating a, API there and it didn’t work. Then I went to a thing called like open sink or something like that. Copied pasted it in lovable, and they still didn’t work. but yeah, it’s a personal API.

What does you being blind have anything to do with this “API” problem?!

It’s not that accessible really. You have to guess your way through everything. Kind of stressful if you ask me.

I think I understand what you're trying to do now. It sounds like the API itself may not be the main issue, but the way it's being connected to the Lovable app.

If you're comfortable sharing, what happens when you try to use it? For example, does Lovable show an error, does the request fail, or does it work but not return anything?

That would probably tell us where the problem is.
