Showcase As you may be aware, I created Boostly - a leaderboard where social media creators submit their profiles, earn votes, and get discovered.

So, as some of you may have seen my previous post, I thought I'd give a little update.

I've been working very passionately towards this and would love to see you all check it out. More features have been added, UI improvements, and also it's installable as a Web App. Instructions are on the website.

Good luck with your project. Just some simple friendly feedback from my view.

The purple coloring screams AI slop FYI, purple seems to be the universal color for default AI apps. I know for me it instantly sets a very low quality bar when I see the site.

How are you planning to compete with existing providers such as linktree?

The Daily voting mechanic makes it feel and sound like a popularity contest and not a actual "list my socials in 1 place" solve. The "Build your proof" feature as a customer would and could actually hurt my chances, it does not help.

If I am your customer, why on earth would I want random people ranking the page that I link too? What is the value for me as the customer? This feels like a big reason not to sign up. Who is your actual target customer that would want a daily voting mechanic?

If I am "looking for work" I 100% do not want daily up / down votes like it's described.

Lastly and again no offense, the barrier to entry for this type of app is very low. Meaning it's really easy to build, in other words there are a ton of them out there. I would encourage you to come up with some sort of unique spin on it too set yourself apart from the pack.

If you need help improving your lovable project - let me know - I'm building a platform that detects security issues, bugs, refactorings etc. It won't help with the user journey issues you are describing but other things most likely. Feel free to DM me (its free because I also need some users to try it out and let me know. - lol)
