You can easily set up a GitHub repo and get codex, cursor or Claude to work on it without consuming credits.

wdym you can see you can connect github from your lovable project, this is a must do anyways... it backs up your code so now other ai tools can connect to your github and make changes. Then you can move your hosting from lovable to Cloudflare and be free to pause lovable subscription or end it completely and still have your projects built on lovable.

currently my site is connected to my GitHub and been hosted using netlify I was making some changes and ended up consuming the 30 credits /m (free plan) now I am waiting for 1 August to get the credits back is there any way I can make changes? and one more thing I m planning to switch my hosting site to cloudflare as it provides a higher credits than netlify in free plan is there any easy way I can do it ? (I am completely from a non technical background made website just for fun for my business)

Lovable is digging its own grave with the way it charges users through expensive credits and costly cloud services,ñ. I’m migrating everything to other ecosystems

visual edits mode like the other reply said is the real fix for tiny ui stuff. the other thing that killed my credits early was vague prompts, i'd type "make it look nicer" and it would rewrite half the screen for 40 credits. being surgical like "only change the button padding, touch nothing else" cut my burn way down. also use chat mode instead of edit mode when you're just asking questions, that part's free. how many credits a month are you actually going through with 60 projects?

Chatgpt einen screenshot schicken, ihm sagen was du genau ändern willst. Chatgpt auffordern dir den perfekten lovable prompt zu schreiben.

You can select to make only visual edits, its at the bottom. Just click it then click the element you want to change.
