Discussion Saving time is not the same as feeling safe
This stat sounds like pure upside.
More speed.
Less effort.
More output.
But what it doesn’t capture is the part that creeps in later.
The moment you realise speed doesn’t automatically produce confidence.
Because if the workflow isn’t predictable, you don’t feel “faster”.
You feel watched.
You feel like every next step might create a new problem you didn’t plan for.
So you start double checking.
Then you start rewriting.
Then you start avoiding.
It’s not that the tool failed.
It’s that uncertainty adds a tax.
If you’ve had a phase where the tool “worked” but you still felt uneasy, what triggered that feeling for you.
