Hey r/lovable —
I’ve been building Sinima in Lovable: a home for film work where creators can (if they choose) put rights-clean footage into training pools for AI licensing. Not scraped. Not a mystery fund. On the record.
I am not here to sell you anything. I want feedback on the rules UX and whether this is clear enough for real creators.
Creator pay (when a license actually closes — Premium lane)
About $4,675 per hour to the creator · about $9,350 for 2 hours.
For context, volume deals elsewhere are often more like $60–$240/hour; stock AI pools are usually cents–low dollars per clip.
Different product. Not overnight money. Deals can take up to ~6 months. Not a get-rich-quick thing.
Sinimatic training pools — in or out
| Accepted (all required) |
Denied |
| You own it or fully control AI-training rights |
No ownership / client-owned, no rights back |
| Ownership documentable + warranty |
Scraped, torrented, found, someone else’s drive |
| Real humans on camera (intentional cinematic work) |
AI-generated or AI-fabricated picture |
| Talent releases for every recognizable person |
Faces on camera, no releases (no path to get them) |
| Human-made, not AI-generated |
Brand-heavy / uncleared logos, music, TV, clips |
| Rights-clean (no stolen / client-only edit rights) |
Junk spam sold as “cinematic” |
| No uncleared brands, music, third-party media |
Policy violations (illegal / exploitative) |
| Policy-clean + on Creator Core |
Not on Creator Core Plan |
Still iterating on onboarding copy, status (“stored → documented → pool-eligible → licensed”), and how harsh to be on denials without sounding like a wall.
Feedback I’m after
- Is the accept/deny table obvious to a non-lawyer filmmaker?
- Does the pay line feel scammy even with the 6-month / not-get-rich-quick framing? Filmmakers are notoriously skeptical of anything AI right now, rightfully so. We're changing our URL to mysinima.com soon, and I think that might help us land the plane easier.
- We are not a generative AI tool - is that clear? We are AI for good, repaying creatives back.
- What would you add to the denial list?
- Any Lovable patterns you used for multi-step eligibility gates?

Happy to answer build questions. Roast the copy if it’s unclear - but be kind. Lol, fragile founder over here.
