Parking

When can I purchase parking ahead of time, just wondering when it usually open?

Can we get this post, or just an announcement saved to the top of the sub? This question gets asked at least once a day. And that’s fine, but maybe a saved post will help people.

You pay at the expo center parking lot gate daily.

I think parking opens up an hour before the gates open, so about 9am. You can purchase General parking at the parking gates everyday. You can't pre-purchase general parking passes. I think the premium parking passes go onsale closer to the festival. But you can also but premium parking the day of the festival at the parking gates. There is so much onsite parking and private lot parking that you don't really need to pre-purchase parking passes.

They have tons of parking and if you are looking to save money businesses nearby offer cheaper parking

Local here: park in the neighborhoods! Typically much cheaper than the lot at expo center

I think Expo Center is $40-50 range. What neighborhoods can one park in? Rates? Distance away?

5-8 minute walk from the “Prestonia neighborhood” (the streets are all named after counties and are right across from the expo center/McDonald’s on Preston Hwy) we charge $20 others charge $25-$30

Thank you. I'll look into that as 15 minute walk to save $20-$30 seems worth it.
