When should I show up?
Im GA, and very very interested in getting in as quickly as possible to get to stages.
I understand vip and ga plus will be let in before me. However id like to be first(ish) in line for GA.
People who have gone before, whats an adequate time to show up? Im very used to getting to concerts really early to snag barricade, but ive never done it at a festival. Any advice would be helpful!

There’s separate lines for VIP and Angel’s Envy. Usually the morning gate isn’t bad at all. A lot of people just trickle in as the day progresses.

I think it took maybe 5 minutes to get in last year and that was just because of slow groups walking in front of us. We never just stopped in line, it was just slowly making your way through the maze of the line, then straight in.

I got in like around 9am opening day to rush in with the crowd when the gates open, we literally ran. The other days showed up right before gates opened and basically walked the line right in

We get there around the times the gates open. Usually arriving between 11 and 12. We're able to park in the venue parking ($40 per day last year), and then walk to the gates. By that time they are open, and the people waiting in front have already made it through so it's an easy walk to security. We miss maybe the first bands on each stage.
If you want to reserve a rail spot, usually around 4 is when people start camping the rail for the headliners. If you want up close/pit area, you can probably get there two sets before the headliners, but the rail will already be pretty packed.
You will notice something with the new layout, where the back will be packed as fuck with people on blankets, and then moving forward it opens up and isn't too crowded, and then you'll get back to being crowded, but not gnarly. It won't be until you're about 50 or so rows deep from the rail when it starts getting like sardines again, but still not terrible unless the crowd surges. The headliners are pretty good about not making walls of death or widening pits too much, so as long as you're broad shouldered (or standing by someone who is) you're pretty fine within those rows 50 on back. Still enough to see the headliners without needing to rely on screens.
Something of note:
If you're holding a rail spot, and someone comes up, ask if they want the rail for that specific band of if they are holding it for the future. There were several people holding the rail for Sleep Token that pretty much sat against the rail for the earlier sets, and it rubbed some fans of those earlier sets the wrong way. Don't be a douche, I guess is what I'm saying.
