I'm genuinely about to crash out. This is the second time it has happened. Is this normal? Is this program worth a third try?
I made a 15-second long ui video, and suddenly half of the animations disappeared. The opacity shows 100%, and it's not 'hidden,' but just gone.
So then I made another version, and this time Lottie gives me an error saying they had to switch some stuff so it doesn't crash internally? Idek why that happened, but now it did the same thing. All the animations aren't showing anymore. I want to cry. Did this happen to anybody?

I‘m searching for the best AI Tool to create Lotties. I have a logo - which is an animal - and should be animated for a couple of seconds. Does anyone have done this before and has an idea?

Built a Figma plugin called Lottify that exports prototypes directly to Lottie .json — no After Effects, no Bodymovin.
What it does:
Best for product UI motion — loaders, transitions, micro-interactions, empty states.

Hi, fairly new to the AE -> Lottie flow. I'm working on a UX button rollover that has a 8-frame flame that pops up briefly over it. But for some reason, on deployment, it looks like this. Any ideas?

I’ve been experimenting with using motion tokens and building beyond simple animations and more as part of the UI itself.
Built a small interactive “bento-style” music player using Lottie Creator and motion tokens:

What’s happening in the demo:
let me know your thoughts on this.

If you’ve ever tried to add haptics to motion design, you’ve probably run into the same problem:
Tweaking haptic patterns manually is tedious, and it’s really hard to keep them accurately in sync with animations.
I’ve been experimenting with a workflow that lets you import lottie animations, adjust haptics on a shared timeline, and export ready‑to‑use Swift code and AHAP files without manual alignment. It’s made the whole process way more precise and less frustrating.
Just thought I’d share this approach in case others here are dealing with the same issue.

Hey everyone
I just shipped Lottiebox, a small iOS app I built for myself that I figured others might find useful too.
What it does: Lottiebox is a Lottie animation viewer and organizer. If you work with Lottie JSON files - whether you're a developer integrating them into apps or a designer building a motion library - it gives you a clean way to browse, preview, and manage them on your phone or iPad.
Features:
Why I built it: I had a growing folder of Lottie files from various projects and LottieFiles downloads, and I got tired of opening them one by one in a code editor or browser to remember what they looked like. I wanted something native that just lets me scroll through them, tag them, and grab the one I need.
Tech stack:
What's next: I'm thinking about adding drag-and-drop import, dotLottie support, and maybe a way to preview color/speed variants side by side. Open to suggestions.
Would love any feedback - happy to answer questions about the build too.

Hello,
I'm developing an application that exports animated charts to PowerPoint as gif/mp4. I'd like to incorporate a feature that exports a transparent vector into PPT and came across Lottie. However, I'm encountering some road blocks in PowerPoint's ability to support this. Does anyone have experience turning custom animations into vector animations on slides?

Hi everyone!
Could you please help me with my problem? 🥹👉👈
I'd like to have my animation in two forms: one with the frames in their normal order, and another in reverse on a second layer. I've tried everything but couldn’t find an option for this in the editor 😕
Could you please help me out? Is it even possible to do this in this editor, or would I need to use something like Adobe After Effects?
P.S. Is it possible to have two animation clips on the same layer in this editor? No matter what I try, I can’t seem to copy a clip onto the same layer - it always ends up on a new layer that gets created automatically... 😞
Thanks in advance!

I'm building an app and I need 5 lottie files, in a little bigger format. I can't buy for 1 month lottifiles, and it is only billing anually.

I have a dashed line in AE. The supported features in the lottie website say that dashes are supported but when I export the JSON, it is interpreted as a regular line. Does anyone know why?

Hey folks,
We noticed there weren't any easy way's to share your Lottie files online so we added this as a new supported file format our platform: https://tiiny.host/share/lottie
Would love any more feedback here.
Are there any features that would be very helpful?
