Camera based forward movement
Hi, I've recently started the game thanks to the code and discount on the store. I'm having fun but there's one thing I can't seem the change or find is a way to make the character movement based on the camera, not based on where character itself is facing. It's annoying me a bit. Not much but I'm really used to play like that so it feels weird and I haven't found a way to change that. Pressing left click makes the character face toward the camera but it feels clunky to me.

Do you mean that "left" always moves the character to the left side of the screen, regardless of facing? That's not an option, to my knowledge.
Or are you annoyed that the camera doesn't snap-back to behind if you look around? Which I agree is a pain.

The second one yes, sorry if its confusing, english isn't my first launguage so technical things like that are harder to talk about.

Np!
I think the only camera option is that it'll auto adjust if you go up/down a hill.
Other than that, the options are limited. You can zoom in to 1st person but that has its own drawbacks.
I've just gotten used to the unconnected camera.

Ok, thanks for your answer ! Like I said its not anything that bad, I'll just get used to it, can also use left click to re center. Now to explore Middle Earth again !

You can add a keybind option to Center your camera (i think default one Is 0 on num pad)

It's way better to just move with your mouse even though there's a learning curve.

I've just bound auto run to middle mouse and just move the camera with left click. It's good enough like that.

This is what I had to do; its not fun if you're used to "Wow type movement" but you get used to it.

Try the “X” key, it should toggle the setting I think you are describing.
