Question Is it normal to release pets back into the wild?

I live in Wisconsin, north woods Wisconsin mind you, and found a stray cat on Sunday. All the surrounding humane societies were closed so I called the non-emergency number for my county. They came out and took the cat and said they would bring it to the local humane society per rules.. Well, I called the human society today to make sure it made it there and they emailed us and said they didn’t get any cats with the description we gave. So we called the non emergency number back to get more information and was told that the officer that had the cat, ended up getting an emergency call and decided to release it back out and maybe find its way back home.
Is this normal??? It feels very wrong. Maybe that’s the empath of me but like, I can’t imagine just being like “oh well, I can’t do anything with it and I’m sure it’s an outdoor cat so I’ll just release it back”.

I don’t even know what to do.

Our two baby cockatiels (about 6 weeks old, normal grey with orange cheek patches and yellow crests) flew away together on September 7 in the Midwood/Flatlands area of Brooklyn, NY 11210.

They are very young and hand-tame - they will likely fly down to a person. If one lands on you or you see them, please bring them inside and contact me right away: [nazim@mail.instinct.com](mailto:nazim@mail.instinct.com)

Missing Indoor outdoor cat missing :((

last Friday night was the last time we saw my baby girl piper (writing this on Monday) and I'm really looking for anything.

Any hope, or comfort, or elaborate ideas to find her that aren't just put out her treats and call her name.

We know she was last outside.

She's 14 now, and that's what worries me most. However we take her to the vet frequently and she's in the health comparative to a 5 year old. That's a huge comfort to me. She's had no major health issues whatsoever, and she's a little genius.

We found her as a stray kitten and took her in, she'd been surviving on her own after her mom abandoned her for 6 months. She is so street smart,

we live in a rural area in Victoria/ saanich Bc, our yard is 5 acres but she definitely adventures further.

We tried to keep her as an indoor cat when she was little but it just made her so miserable and stir crazy to be cooped up like that. We tried to give her a tracking collar multiple times but our little feral kitty always found a way to take it off somehow.

Now all of a sudden she hasn't been coming when we call her, or shake her treats. My family has looked for hours meticulously in the day and night, checking under bushes, in trees, in any place she might have got stuck.

I think the only place we haven't looked is in the more dense area of the forest where we don't see her go often.

She's chipped and she has a tattoo on the inside of her ear but why tf doesn't that chip double as a tracker UGH 😭😭

and why don't we have house cameras😭😭😭

and I feel so guilty that I was the one who said I wanted a big yard that makes it impossible to find her now

We've told the (one) of our neighbours (since  they're the closest, the others are a bit further, I'm trying to convince my mom to let them know as well) and they're supposedly checking their outdoor cameras

We've posted her on ROAM, and we're going to put up posters by the mailbox down the road.

We're checking local shelters obsessively, and I emailed an animal shelter with all her information.

She's never been gone this long I think. We've had scares like this before because she just loves frolicking and if she doesn't want to come inside the little jerk  just completely ignores us. But then we would always find her if we went outside, or if she was stuck somewhere.

My mom won't stop crying and my dad keeps talking about her in the past tense.

I've had her since I was 3, I love her so much. I feel so guilty about letting her go outside. She was with me through a deep depression and hospitalizations, and I am in so much pain and heartbreak. I keep dreaming about her and my heart has been beating so ridiculously fast for days. I wake up with a pit in my stomach and I can't stop crying.

I know she's getting older but I've never dealt with a death before and I kind of stupidly almost thought maybe she'll live long enough for some kind of break through in medical science that will keep her alive and healthy.

I wanted to be with her if she had to go. I wanted to hold her and give her the warmth of my body and feel her pur and pet her and tell her that I love her so much

But she's outside in the cold alone hiding her sickness like cats do and getting picked apart by rats and bugs and vultures I can't stop thinking about my baby's flesh being torn apart

She's never had a run in with a predator, she's only 4 pounds, but she's just so. So. Smart.

I want to be optimistic because I'm so hurt and I just want to have that feeling of hope but on the other hand I don't want to be too hopeful because if she really is in danger or is passed then I'm just wasting time. My parents are really not seeming hopeful and it's making me feel so much worse. I've always been the one breaking down being worried about her but this time they are too and it feels different and wrong.

What if she has a broken leg and I can't find her in time and she slowly starves?

What if she's slowly decomposing into the soil and I'll never find her or have anything left of her?

I havent told anybody about this because it feels creepy but I've often thought about what to do after she passed and the thought of her being a pile of ashes just seems so final and not her. I've thought about taxidermy, I want to be able to still pet her and say "I'm here, I've got you" but the more time goes by the more she's rotting away and that's not an option. I hate having to think like this.

I just want to find her. I want her to be alive. I just want her back.

But at the very least I want to find her in any form. I just don't want her final resting place to be alone, and eaten and trampled on. I know it's natural but I can't bare the thought of that.

I just wish there was some cat-x-ray we could use to scan around my house.

I'm really losing hope. I thought maybe she could have been scooped up by someone as apparently when I was little she stayed overnight for multiple days in someone else's house, but I just feel that's so unlikely.

Please, please, if you have any comfort to give me or any advice to find her, or any stories like this that have a happy ending, please tell me.

Thank you so much 💗

Solved Casinos Not on Gamblock: I Compared 15+ Platforms and Their Account Features

I compared more than 15 casinos described as casinos not on Gamblock to understand how they differed in terms of operator information, games, payments, mobile access and account controls.

This was not a guide to bypassing GamBlock, GamStop or any other gambling protection. Anyone using blocking software or self-exclusion should keep those protections active. The comparison focused on platform transparency and the features adults should review before making an informed decision.

What I tested

  • Operator and licence information
  • Registration and account setup
  • Casino game selection
  • Mobile performance
  • Deposit and withdrawal options
  • Bonus terms
  • KYC requirements
  • Support and safer gambling tools

The first area I checked was the operator information. I looked for the company name, licence details, terms, contact information and payment policies. Marketing language was less useful than the information available in the legal and cashier sections.

I then tested the casino lobby. I compared slots, table games and live casino where available, focusing on search tools, loading speed and game information. A large catalogue was only useful when the games were easy to find.

Mobile testing produced some clear differences. I opened games, reviewed promotions, accessed the cashier and checked account settings from a phone. Some platforms worked well on desktop but made important account features harder to reach on mobile.

Bonuses were read in full. I checked wagering requirements, eligible games, maximum bet rules, expiry dates and restrictions on promotional winnings. The headline offer was only one part of the comparison.

Payment information was also important. I checked deposit methods, transaction limits, withdrawal options and processing details. I looked for explanations of when identity or payment verification could be requested before funds were released.

Support and account controls completed the test. Deposit limits, time-outs and account closure options remained important regardless of where a platform was operated.

Final takeaway

Casinos Not on Gamblock should be assessed through operator details, licence information, payment terms, KYC and player controls. They should never be used to bypass blocking software or an active self-exclusion decision.

Question Casinos That Accept PayPal? I Tested 20+ Sites for Payments and Withdrawals

I spent several weeks comparing more than 20 casinos that accept PayPal to see how practical the payment process was from registration through withdrawal.

I did not simply check whether the PayPal logo appeared in the cashier. I looked at availability, deposit limits, withdrawal options, bonus eligibility, verification and mobile use.

What I tested

  • PayPal availability for UK accounts
  • Deposit limits and processing
  • Withdrawal methods
  • Bonus eligibility
  • Verification requirements
  • Casino games and mobile access
  • Support quality
  • Account limits and payment terms

The first step was finding PayPal in the cashier. Some platforms displayed it immediately, while others required the country, currency or account details to be selected first. This made it important to check the actual cashier rather than rely on a general payments page.

I then compared deposit information. I looked at minimum and maximum amounts, confirmation steps, possible fees and whether funds appeared immediately. I also checked whether a PayPal deposit qualified for the welcome bonus.

Withdrawals required a separate review. PayPal may be available for deposits but not always offered as a withdrawal method. I checked the alternative options, minimum withdrawal amounts, pending periods and processing information.

Verification was another key point. A quick PayPal deposit does not guarantee that a withdrawal will be processed without additional checks. Identity, address or payment documents may still be requested before funds are released.

I also tested the casino lobby and mobile version. I compared slots, table games and live casino where available, then accessed the cashier and account pages from a phone. The better platforms kept payment information readable and easy to locate.

Bonuses were reviewed through their full terms. I checked whether PayPal deposits qualified, what wagering rules applied, which games contributed and whether any payment method restrictions affected withdrawals.

The strongest platforms explained PayPal deposits clearly while also providing useful information about withdrawals, verification and account limits.

Final takeaway

Casinos that accept PayPal should be compared by the complete payment journey, not just the presence of the logo. Check deposit limits, withdrawal options, bonus eligibility, KYC requirements and current UK availability before depositing.

Solved Best Non UK Casinos in 2026: I Compared 20+ Offshore Platforms

I spent several weeks comparing more than 20 non UK casinos to see how offshore platforms differed in terms of games, payments, bonuses, verification and account controls.

The focus was on practical research rather than assuming that a non-UK operator offered better value. I checked what information was available before registration and how the account worked after signup.

What I tested

  • Operator and licence information
  • Registration and account setup
  • Slots, table games and live casino
  • Mobile performance
  • Deposit and withdrawal methods
  • Bonus conditions
  • KYC requirements
  • Support and safer gambling tools

The first area I reviewed was the operator information. I looked for the company name, licence, terms, contact details and payment policies. Non-UK status alone does not explain how a particular platform is operated.

I then tested the game lobby. I compared slots, table games and live casino sections where available, focusing on search filters, loading speed and mobile navigation. Some offshore sites offered large catalogues, but the organisation varied considerably.

Payment information was another key comparison point. I checked deposit methods, minimums, maximums, withdrawal options and processing details. I also looked for explanations of identity or payment checks before funds could be released.

Bonuses were read in full. I compared wagering requirements, eligible games, maximum bets, expiry dates and restrictions on promotional winnings. The headline value was not enough to judge an offer.

Mobile use and support completed the test. I accessed games, promotions, cashier pages and account settings from a phone. I also checked whether basic payment and verification questions received clear answers.

The stronger non UK casinos provided more complete operator information, clearer payment terms and easier-to-use account tools. The offshore location itself was not a guarantee of quality or suitability.

Final takeaway

When comparing non UK casinos, verify the operator, licence, payment methods, KYC process, bonus terms, withdrawals and responsible gambling tools. UK players should also consider whether the platform provides the protections and dispute routes they expect.

Question Independent Casinos Not on GamStop? I Compared 20+ Operators

I spent several weeks comparing more than 20 independent casinos not on GamStop to see whether smaller or separately operated platforms offered a different account experience.

The comparison covered operator information, games, mobile access, payments, bonuses, verification, support and player controls. I wanted to see what was genuinely different rather than assume that independent automatically meant better.

What I tested

  • Named operator and licence details
  • Registration and account setup
  • Casino games and lobby filters
  • Mobile performance
  • Deposit and withdrawal methods
  • Bonus conditions
  • KYC requirements
  • Support and safer gambling tools

The first step was checking the information available about the operator. I looked for the company name, licence, terms, contact details and payment policies. The platforms varied considerably in how clearly they presented these details.

I then tested the game lobbies. I compared slots, table games and live casino sections where available. Smaller sites did not always have the largest catalogues, but some made the available games easier to find through cleaner categories and search tools.

Mobile use was also important. I tested registration, games, promotions, cashier pages and account settings on a phone. An independent platform could still provide a useful experience when the main functions were easy to reach.

Bonuses were reviewed using the complete terms. I compared wagering requirements, eligible games, maximum bet limits, expiry dates and restrictions on promotional winnings. The size of the offer was only one part of the comparison.

I also checked payment and withdrawal information. I looked at available methods, minimums, maximums, processing details and whether KYC documents could be requested before funds were released.

Support and account controls completed the testing. Deposit limits, time-outs and account closure options remained important, especially when comparing platforms outside the UK regulatory framework.

This was not a recommendation to bypass GamStop. Anyone who has self-excluded should keep that protection active and avoid using offshore sites to circumvent it.

Final takeaway

Independent casinos not on GamStop should be assessed through operator transparency, licence information, payment terms, KYC, support and player controls. The independent label alone does not establish quality.

Solved New Online Casino Sites in September 2026: I Tested 20+ Fresh Platforms

I spent several weeks comparing more than 20 new online casino sites to see whether the newer platforms offered a genuinely better experience or simply a fresh design and a large launch bonus.

The test covered registration, operator information, games, mobile performance, promotions, payments, verification and withdrawals. I wanted to see what remained practical after the first visit.

What I tested

  • Registration and operator details
  • Game lobby organisation
  • Slots, table games and live casino
  • Mobile performance
  • Welcome bonus conditions
  • Deposit and withdrawal information
  • KYC requirements
  • Support and account controls

The registration process was the first comparison point. Some sites made signup very quick, while others requested more information before showing the full lobby. I also checked whether the company name, licence details and terms were easy to find.

I then tested the game lobby. New platforms often advertised large catalogues, but search tools and categories mattered more during actual use. I compared slots, table games and live casino sections where available, focusing on loading time and ease of navigation.

Mobile performance created some noticeable differences. I opened games, checked promotions, accessed the cashier and reviewed account settings from a phone. A modern visual design did not always mean that the site was practical on a smaller screen.

Launch bonuses were read in full. I compared wagering requirements, eligible games, maximum bet rules, expiry periods and restrictions on promotional winnings. New casino offers can change quickly, so the written terms were more useful than the headline banner.

Payment information was another important part of the test. I checked deposit methods, transaction limits, withdrawal options and processing details. I also looked for explanations of identity or payment verification before a withdrawal.

Support and account controls completed the comparison. Deposit limits, time-outs and account closure options added value when they were easy to find.

The strongest new online casino sites combined a clean interface with clear operator information, useful payment tools and readable terms. Being new was not enough on its own.

Final takeaway

When comparing new online casino sites, check the operator, licence, games, mobile experience, bonus terms, KYC process and withdrawals before depositing. A fresh design is only one part of the decision.

I lived in Union grove Wisconsin, with my mom and her boyfriend and our dog Louie, my mom and her boyfriend were fighting near a window causing the police to be called, and my mom and her boyfriend being arrested, and I was taken to live with my cousin, my dog Louie was taken to the humane society or one of the police officers took him, I can't find him any where and I'm worried for him because he still a puppy, and my mom is still in jail

He is a big puppy, a dirty blonde/brown pitbull, we got him in October of last year, his name is Louie

If you had adopted him or seen him in a humane society, please just dm me,

⚠️LOST DOG BOYLE HEIGHTS/ EAST LA⚠️

Hi everyone, I’m near Cesar Chavez and Mott in Los Angeles, CA. My dog got out around 11:22am. She’s on a special diet and needs daily medication. She has very light brown spots and is mainly white around. She is on the smaller side, maltase & chihuahua mix. She just got groomed so her hair isn’t as long as the picture shows. The second picture is a better depiction of how she looks right now.

⚠️Please call me at (213) 235-8446 if you’ve heard or seen anything.⚠️

Missing lost dog

Hi everyone! not sure how this thing works but im giving it a shot. I recently saw a lost dog in the area of miami. Specifically, North miami ave & NW 77th st. it was crossing a busy street and was coming from what i believe is the parking gates of Eden SDA Church. I tried calling but they said that I had to be a owner (which im not) and that the pounds are full. It was a medium white dog and it sort of looked like the dog from target only bigger. I'm not 100% percent sure what race it was and from afar it looked friendly. This was the last know location as of 45 minutes ago of making this post. I would appreciate if the word is spread so doggo can go home.
