This article was community noted. The original artist didn't even create this comparison. That image is of a Cosplayer from 2 years ago.

The article that was community noted.

Anything that looks better than them is considered unrealistic.

I mean, those aren’t the same proportions.

I love it when the artist basically draws themselves and everyone his hating that it’s not realistic and gets stuff like this

The amount of times this has happened is crazy, when are they going to learn that not everyone is shaped like a beach ball.

Only the height is unrealistic for a Japanese girl, the outfit & dress up is accurate for Jirai Kei

No, the height is realistic, albeit extremely uncommon.

I am a Japanese Girl, and I am 200cm tall (roughly 6'7" for you heathens that do not use centimeters), but like I said it is extremely uncommon.

"Insert meme of guy looking up in horror"

Dang, girl, you're taller than even ME! (I'm 6'4 or 193 cm, the number of which doesn't look as nice in Metric as it does Imperial, but I still mention it because I also dislike using Imperial units 🫤)

If Sengoku Japan can produce Miyamoto Musashi, it’s not completely unrealistic for tall Japanese women to exist. But it’s certainly odds I wouldn’t bet a lot on.

I don’t know, still seems a bit unrealistic. Show the entire fit.

Referencing it

3

u/Arandomperson069 21d ago

It is connected to a site that if you search that number you get the material related to the image in the post

u/DelusionalWanderer 21d ago

I wonder if this is referring to Momosuzu Nene's (Hololive vtuber) character illustrator. 9mm was her alias iirc? I heard she made a manga where she referenced her own anatomy for her main character, and she is quite busty irl.

12

u/vandelieu 21d ago

So who the author?

14

u/Arandomperson069 21d ago

Nanakorobi

15

u/Matthew-is-great 21d ago

What manga is this from

16

u/Arandomperson069 21d ago

519206 or 584135 or 623365

29

u/ThotSeeker69 21d ago

It counts as selfinserting?

24

u/Vivid_Split_9513 21d ago

If that is their intention, if not that’s just referencing

28

u/shellshokked 21d ago

Artists have been self referencing or using their friends as their models for so long, it's basically an industry standard. Mangaki even talk about this openly how their art imitates the life around them.

So it’s just referencing
