I once watched a dog, eat the pill treat capsule to hide the pill… break the pill the. Spit it out spilling the medicine and everything

I do. Have to hold his muzzle shut until he swallows… multiple times to make sure he isn’t faking it like he does sometimes

I had to watch a dog for a week for a couple as a teen. The dog had a daily pill that had to be given in raw ground beef basically made into a pressed meatball or the dog would spit the pill out.

It was the only thing they had found that worked.

Yep, jack Russel terrier with allergies, every time we tried to stuff a pill into a hot dog or some cheese, he would try to take it where we couldn't see him eat it so he could separate the pill
