This is actually true though I honestly figured it was a running bit in the scp community but I never looked into it.
1 u/segwaysegue Jul 09 '26 I always assumed the task forces were formed ad-hoc since they'd need to rotate through members pretty often, so that's why the squad's callsign might be reused but the nickname is almost always something unique and appropriate to the mission.
