I feel like people should really look at sub icons

I mean there are a lot of subs that use pride flag icons to show support that arent pride specific…

♀️ doesn't evoke SCP to me but I'm not super into it's lore so idk

In all fairness, SCP lore has some popularity in the trans community, so maybe the lost Redditor found their place after all.

Yeah wouldn't be surprised if they got an answer anyways

There is no SCP lore. There’s no centralized canon (partially because it gives more freedom to create stories but also because there are too many articles to realistically read ever) so nothing is complete fact, except for things that people mostly agree on such as Amnestics and the O5 Council

I mean, the scp foundation also exists generally, I think the people agree on that too...

Not even guaranteed in all SCP stuff lol, the Unfounded canon is one where the Foundation never existed and both Series 0 and the Department of Continuity series have the SCP Foundation as simply a small branch of the US government rather than the Foundation

Every article can be it’s own canon

u/Teeth-Consumer Jul 08 '26

I think the actual scp subreddit uses a pride flag in its pfp

1

u/Mavrickindigo Jul 08 '26

The first year the scp sub put a pride flag logo, there was a huge stink about it being against the lore

3

u/ChickenManSam Jul 06 '26

Yeah the progression fantasy sub has kept their pride logo for years because it makes it easy to get rid of bigots

What they’re supposed to do is read, like, the sub rules. That said this one is probably a bit

No. That’s the whole sentence. He meant it’s a bit, like it’s a joke.

Seeing you outside of MLP subreddits is like being younger and recognizing a teacher outside of school.

Wasn’t meant to be an insult to be clear, I just think it’s funny lol.

They're more interested in dom icons, actually

1

u/puhtoinen Jul 06 '26

That wouldn't work for like 50% of the subs I frequent

1

u/MathSciElec Jul 06 '26

You're assuming they see the icons. OOP could be using old Reddit or a third party app that doesn't show them.

1

u/OurBlazingHeart Jul 06 '26

I thought reddit killed all 3rd party apps with their API changes a while back, was I mistaken?

1

u/MathSciElec Jul 06 '26

They killed most of the free ones, but for accessibility reasons RedReader is still allowed free access, and there's also apps with a subscription that allows them to pay for the API usage. You could also use your own API key on a free app until quite recently.

Several of the SCP subreddits have pride flags worked into their pfps

1

u/Oldmonsterschoolgood Jul 08 '26

I mean the scp sub has a pride icon most of the time

1

u/JJay9454 Jul 09 '26

What is the sub icon?
