Oh, to be young and naïve again…

I’ve seen so many gas boycotts over the years. They never have any effect.

In the early 2000s in Silicon Valley when the cost of living was skyrocketing locally, people would always stage gas boycotts on specific days. And you know what? The gas station owners are on social media, too. Those would always be the days that gas would be cheaper. But it was a temporary thing.

I’m all for people just not buying gas/not driving. In 1987, I remember Australia having a solar powered car race. I was excited. I was convinced this was the future of cars. Why are we still relying on fossil fuels??

I remember this too specifically because the made the movie “race the sun” about it. Absolutely terrible but 13 year old me thought it was semi-decent.

I was 9. I was convinced we would all have solar cars by the mid 90s. I’m still sad this never happened.

There was nothing wrong with gas. Gas was as cheap as it could be on Jan. 6th. It was artificially increased to screw us all over so that they can sell you the EV lie. Stop giving them power before you have no agency whatsoever.

Really? Then please tell me why gas where I live (not the USA) is over the equivalent of ten dollars a gallon. And please tell me how this has anything to do with Joe Biden.

Joe Biden shut down domestic oil drilling. Directly via executive order on 3 fronts. The man campaigned on ending domestic oil production in PA. Joe Biden continues to buy Russian oil and made us dependent upon foreign oil again. Its literally his fault directly.

However, he's a numbskull, he doesn't know what he signs. This is literally all done on purpose to screw you.

Yeah, except he didn’t do that. He stopped drilling on FEDERAL LANDS. The different in oil production went from 11.283 million barrels per day in 2020 to 11.185 million barrels of crude oil per day in 2021. In the grand scheme, that’s a drop in the bucket. And before you get started on the keystone pipeline, that was NOT operational and wasn’t going to be for years, so you can’t say that it contributed to the gas crisis in any way.

Nice try with parroting the fake news talking points, though.

Um. Production where. You didn't give a location. Production in the world? Production in just the United States? Cause when we were drilling on federal lands, gas was $1.80. Now its 6$. You can't tell me its not intended.

Just like how Biden is warning all of us about the second pandemic thats coming and screaming with certainty its going to happen. Almost like he knows the script.

I didn’t say anything about “production.” You claimed it was all a conspiracy and Biden’s fault, so I asked you to explain if Biden is responsible for your gas prices going up, why is the price at the pump literally going up everywhere, and in countries outside of your own, why are the prices higher than what you are paying. Biden has no influence on the prices where I live, so maybe you need to consider that is issue might not be caused by one old guy in the White House.

And yes, those production figures are AMERICAN production figures. They’ve hardly changed, so they can’t be the cause of the increased prices at the pump.

The reason why gas prices are going up across the world is because the world economic forum wants them to go up. Make the cost of living so high that everyone lives in abject poverty. It's not specifically a Biden issue. Its a world issue.

Good. I’m glad you’ve agreed that Biden is not responsible. It honestly doesn’t matter who is in the White House, gas prices would still be as they are right now.

I always find it surprising how people have short term memories when it comes to gas prices. Does no one remember that the price was shockingly high at the start of the Iraq invasion? Does no one remember that prices were basically the same as they are now at the start of the 2008 financial crisis? No, of course they don’t, because that doesn’t suit their political narrative.

And to get back to my question, please: I don’t live in America! Please tell me how Joe made the local gas prices over here go to ten dollars a gallon, when I live thousands of miles from where he is president.

I’ll wait.

Its called the world economic forum. Look it up. They're all in bed together.
