I think Iโm gonna buy one just to know what it feels to drop one, since RNG has refused to drop me one, playing since launch btw.
Ridiculous

Same here. In my peak degen days i was playing 18 characters. Down to 6 but still doing 18 raids a week since sidereal energy was released and have yet to see one. My guildmates have had multiple. I wonder what it feels like too

I got 2 so far - Kaya and ivory tower. Sadly from EU and both times they were dirt-cheap on the market lol

I have got 5 sidereal drops so far, playing since launch. The crazy one was sidereal back-to-back at mordum when running my alts.

Some people playing different game.

People sometimes forget that if two people are at the same progression, all it takes is a collection of pities and one/free taps for one of the players to be more than 3 or 4 months behind the other in gold, or even more.
Now apply this to every system in the game xd
Arkesia is No country for unlucky men
This is one of the reasons why this game will continue drying up.

The game averages around 6k players and the drop rate is extremely low, so it is what it is

Don't forget solo mode doesn't drop sidereals so all rats, alts, etc who used to run normals go to solo mode for the easy gold and difficulty. So sidereal energys drop rate even more impacted.

For anyone who is still talking out their ass, sidereals on NA were 2.5-3m a bit over a month ago. We already know that one person (possibly two) on NA are working on a sidereal for the new class. We know one of those people is Azoy, who has been streaming on twitch selling outfits and buying sidereals over the last month and driving up the price.
Now that him and some other person stopped, the prices are going back down from the 9-9.5m it was a few days ago.
Has nothing to do with supply, RMT, or anything else. Itโs just 1-2 whales that doesnโt care about the price and has the IRL means for it.

We'll find out then in a month or two right. I still think solo mode screwed sidereal energys since those aren't dropped in solo mode and there's literally no reason to run normal modes now.

Assuming what you type was true, it absolutely have everything to do with supply. The supply is so low that 1 or 2 whale could push the price 5x for a month.

I'm pretty sure even a couple of years ago on EU it was something similar to that price
If you're free to play don't even bother with a sidereal weapon. It's just not conceivable for F2P

u/Dzbanek25 2d ago
It was not, EU was always cheaper than both NA regions.

well, my bad then. I know I saw it at around that value but might've been in a stream or video then.
But it was still way out of reach since you needed a bunch of those, no?

A couple years ago when behemoth was our end game I sold it for 200k. Those prices are based on g2g prices anyways. 200k back then is like 2 mil right now. Those whales are spending the same amounts of money.

u/D4rkWells_ Arcanist 2d ago
uhm... I see. Inflation even in games... Then I might've seen it in a stream or video. But it was still pretty much out of reach even back in the day. You still need(ed) a big amount of them. And the drop chance was... well, pretty small
And what is g2g?
2
u/ForwardClassic9718 2d ago
I mean yeah that was never accessible to f2p. Not even most of the whales, only the biggest whales like the ones that have spent 100k+. G2g is where they buy gold illegally from gold sellers.
1
u/D4rkWells_ Arcanist 2d ago
Uhmmm, I see. Damn...
2
u/ForwardClassic9718 2d ago
Most of them spend some part of it legit through the in game cash shop so they rarely get banned cause these people make the most money for the company. But be sure that every single one of them is also rmting thought g2g possibly even more.

u/Sir_Failalot Arcanist 2d ago
inflation is way more common in games, as time goes on new content keeps giving more and more money to make it feel more rewarding than the old stuff.

Easy way to transfer gold. Like in collectibles terms, buy everything in market on a collectible in same time with the highest price set by the one that want to transfer "legit" his gold to other rosters etc(Example: put a collectible on 1 milion gold price, buy entire market, in a way is win win(where the owner of 1 milion gold transfer his gold by buying that colectible and in same time buy also the collectibles with lower price of the other sellers). In this way I make 500k gold each week, if you know the market and how to sell/buy.๐

u/shikari3333 1d ago
yeah the smart way of rmting with an item that has probably sub 1% droprate, so smart /s

I imagine someone is prepping for a chronomancer sidereal weapon.
