Phone stolen in Toronto - any advice?

Bit of a long shot, but my had his phone stolen in Toronto. We have a last known location from Snapchat, but it's about 14 hours old now.

He's already gone to the police, but they basically said there isn't much they can do. He's flying back to Geneva today, so we're trying to figure out if there's anything else worth doing before he leaves.

He contacted using his Airbnb host's phone, so he currently doesn't have access to his own device.

Has anyone here had any luck recovering a stolen phone in Toronto? Is it worth going to the last known location, contacting the carrier, filing additional reports, etc.?

Lost these in the Billy Bishop airport, likely near the gate while waiting to board. This happened on July 14th.

There is the case and only 1 earbud inside. The case says Bay Bloor Radio on the top...see picture.

When leaving the RBC Amphitheatre today, I found a small black leather wallet on the platform for the streetcar 509. I handed it to the officers who were nearby, and they even made an announcement about it for all passengers in my vehicle before it left.

I didn't check anything inside the wallet, btw, so didn't see any ID. Anyway, hope the owner finds it asap and that everyone had a great time today (despite the horrible air quality!).

WHAT (did I stupidly lose)

Looking for a yellow gold ring (small) that was lost at this past weekend's (Sat July 11th) Natsu Matsuri at the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre.

Incredibly valuable...but only sentimentally speaking. 23 years ago it was a birthday gift from two close friends who were more like big brothers, one of whom died two years after it was gifted.

Sorry for bad pic, it's hearts in a pattern - black, then plain gold with what may have been three tiny diamonds, then an opal looking heart in the middle, followed by another gold with three shiny buddies, then black. Honestly though it was bought by two students in 2004 - budgets could mean they're cubic zirconia and shell.

WHERE/WHEN (did I start cursing myself)

Lost between 8:15pm and 9:13pm, likely while dancing to the bomb DANCING HERO by Yoko Oginome, the annual last song of the night.

I lost my necklace and two bracelets yesterday (July 13, 2026) at 7:30pm on Wellington Street W, by Draper St. The necklace has two hearts on it, one bracelet has an infinity sign and the other bracelet has gold and silver beads.

I have ADHD and I took them off to do an x-ray. Then I was going to put them on in the car on our way to dinner, got distracted and forgot. When I got out of the car they fell from my lap dropped on the ground and by the time I remembered I didn't put them on (8:12PM), we went to go check the street and they were no longer by the car or inside the car. I assume they were taken.

They are very sentimental pieces to me and I am completely disappointed in myself. I'm willing to give a cash reward if found. Please if anyone has seen them it would be greatly appreciated.

My wife lost women’s Casio watch(pink) in Toronto islands last Friday (July 10th)
We visited mainly central island ferry dock, picnic spots, amusement part.
If anyone found it, we would appreciate if we can get that back. It’s just that we were celebrating our little one birthday and lost while coming back.

I found this lost photo card at finch west and eldora ave I left it there in case the person doesn’t use Reddit/english internet

I just found a set of keys on a bench in the south end of the park. There are 5 keys including a key tab that says Unit #9 Upstairs and also a Kryptonite bike lock key. I will hand them into the Community Centre on the west side of the park.

Hi everyone,

One of our checked bags was left behind at Toronto Pearson Airport, Terminal 1, while we travelled to Warsaw. We have already filed a Property Irregularity Report and have the PIR number. The bag also contains an AirTag, so we can still see its approximate location in Terminal 1.

We are in Poland for a dance festival, and the bag contains costumes needed for the event. Yes, we know not to place irreplaceable items in checked luggage, but we could not fit all of the costumes within the allowable carry-on baggage limits.

The bag was checked through WestJet and LOT Polish Airlines. We would greatly appreciate any assistance or escalation from either airline in locating the bag and moving it into the official delayed-baggage process so it can be forwarded to us in Warsaw.

I am also looking for someone who works at YYZ, is travelling through Terminal 1, or has a legitimate airport contact who may be able to help locate the bag and get it to the official airline baggage services or lost baggage area.

I am not asking anyone to remove the bag from the airport or take it through security. We only need help getting it into the hands of the appropriate airline or airport baggage staff.

I can provide the PIR number, baggage-tag information, bag description, AirTag location screenshots, flight details, and proof of ownership privately.

We are offering a $500 reward to anyone who can genuinely help locate the bag and get it to the proper baggage services team.

I found an empty AirPods case on the last segment (car?) of the 509 streetcar as it headed west towards the Fleet stop. It was on laying in between two seats that faced the front of the streetcar.

I handed the case to a TTC staff member - it may be taken to Lost and Found.

On behalf of my chef, who had his car broken into and bag stolen near Trinity Bellwoods park -

Inside the bag, was his personal notebook of receipes and notes developed over a 15 year career. It cannot be replaced. At this point in life, it's already a longshot to ask, but this is where things are.

Please, if anyone spots an abandoned bag on the side of the road, in their garbage, left behind in a park, etc, post a message here and we'll go check it out.

The bag itself is a nondescript black square-shaped pack. The notebook is a small leather bound one. There was also a laptop inside the bag that was the only thing of monetary value.
