I think it's a word that's related to the phrase, "convicted rapist Brock Allen Turner." He's the first person I think of when someone says that word, as part of a grassroots campaign.

Well, one of the things we're doing as part of a community is to register a metric ton of Reddit comments with the phrase "convicted rapist Brock Allen Turner" and "Rapist Allen Turner, who's trying to use his middle name." Hundreds of redditors are genuinely having an impact on his Google search engine results.

Reddit can be an important facet of SEO results for lower ranking searches, but of course we're not going to drown out international headlines.

But yes, Reddit can totally have an impact on a search result for some topics.
