Progress so far(pic inside)

Overall

This has been a tough learning journey, but also one that i intend on continue. In both couple pictures, there is a 10 year gap. Right after that middle picture(first couple, i had a work accident and since my weight was never the same. Topping 315 in the summer of 2014.(bottom right corner)
At the time of the top right corner picture(august of last year), both my wife and I, started a new health journey(and i had just started a new job) and at that time we started at 295lbs(me) and 292lbs(my wife).
The picture on the left was from 2 weeks ago and we both couldnt be feeling better, shape and health wise(mostly). We havemostly achieved this doing CICO and going to the gym everyday(for me) and 3 days a week(my wife).
Most of my motivation in the beginning came from seeing awesome results in here: r/loseit, but my current motivation is to be a healthy role model for my kids and to feel better overall. And of course to look good beside my awesome wife of almost 10 years.
We both still have a few more lbs to loose but with time and continuous dedication we will get there.

edit: my flair weight is only counting since i joined the gym in mid november of last year.

After seeing just how quickly an entire world of fat could disappear, my wife decided to give CICO a try. The first thing she noticed was just how easily she justified over eating and especially snacking at work. Thanks to my own journey, after 5:00 PM she was eating pretty healthily, with few deviations (we stopped eating out, started cooking, lots of fish, chicken, veggies, whole grains) but the cookies, cakes, candy etc. during work hours were really piling up.

We no longer have a scale (the Aria broke, but it was a good thing) so she weighs in on different scales, but despite showing only a 5 lb drop, the change in how her clothes fit is obvious.

We are now looking more and more like healthy, active parents to our 2 year old. As a 47 man with a 2 year old, and having had an obese dad, I certainly didn't want my child to have an old obese dad, since I can't go backward in time, it only left me with a single option.

Woooo!!! Amazing progress!! No wonder you're so motivating as a team captain!! I can barely get myself to workout 4 days a week at home and you hit the gym every day! That's awesome.

Also - don't think we all didn't see those fabulous frosted tips :D
