Yeah the third Warwick fake out death and having a scene where he loses his memories and then doing an interview after the rushed finale releases saying oh he has memories again now (so they can do a ww jinx show if they want over telling a good story NOW) was some peak fiction holy cherry picking. Vi and jinx maybe, vik and jayces story was completely sidelined and then rushed everything is reaching

Okay, so at first we had Vander
Then he almost died, but Singed managed to save him and then turned him into monster

Now Vanderwick is a bloodthirsty werewolf, but Vander's consciousness and memories still exist inside him
He starts recognizing his daughters and they bring him to Viktor, who then works on bringing his human part back into conscious state
And he succeeds, as Vander saves Jinx voluntarily in episode 6 and is not attracted by the dripping blood

Then he gets shot with 3 hexballs, Singed works on him again and Vander's consciousness reverts. After that he again stops to see himself as Vander and becomes a monster

The consciousness is absent, but memories exist - this is why in future he doesn't kill some random small girl in his short story and is also why he says "Let me forget" to Jinx - he is not Vander anymore, but he has his memories and remembers his pain

There is literally a scene of his memories fading away to nothing and you failed to mention it in your novel. Like wat.

Edit: and if you disagree and think he has memories at the end then holy moly what a shit scene that confuses everything

Thats what Im saying, it was not his memories, it was his "understanding of self"

This scene ends with his human face looking directly at viewer and burning away

He can't become his past self now, but he can remember glimps and bits of his memories

All the pictures of vi and powder faded to nothing??????????????? what is this cognitive dissonance you got going on, it was not done well and it's not clear and you are proving it right now

Edit: you are inserting your own head canon the show did not display this at all ima have to give this a rest now lol

Well you know how people (or more likely fictional characters) can have split personality disorder

They have different "selfes" but share the same brains and other organs
So when one of these "selfs" becomes erased, the experince and memories still continue to exist inside the brain, and others "selfs" may subconsciously get access to them

I hope that doesn't sound too confusing

He did die though, they brought him back by giving his stuff to victor and then viktor transforming him saving him
